No Jokic - Arthur probably limited after the last game
WIll Malone really play Nurkic? Did those who said it was foolish to release Stokes understate what would happen if one of our two true centers was injured?
Nurkic - Faried - Hernangomez - O'Bryant
or will Malone overplay Gallinari & Chandler at PF and lean on Barton at SF?

My prediction for most minutes against the Suns:
Gallinari
Chandler
Nelson
Barton
Harris
Faried
Murray
Nurkic
Hernangomez

I think Nurk could get 25-30 minutes this game, if not, new guy will see playing time and Nurk will be traded in few days but I would give him, minutes to get value back

You would; but Malone has proven he doesn't like and/or trust Nurkic. I'm guessing Nurkic starts and plays less than 15 minutes.

I would actually like to see what new guy has to offer so FO knows do they need C coming back in Nukr deal or not.

You are assuming our FO has a collective intelligence beyond drafting?
Draft well? Yes. Small trades good? Yes. Trade young players with talent? No way. They believe that if the "Nuggets can't use a young player, than no one should."

I agree with PSI, just because they haven't made a BIG trade, perhaps it's because the right offer hasn't come across (yet). Looking at their smaller trades does lead me to believe they're fully capable of getting decent value.

Nurkic better play good tonight, he had a same chance against Oklahoma last year and he was awful, ok he played against very solid frontcourt then, but tonight he should have a good and productive game.

Yeah, good opportunity to build Nurkic trade value. He should review Thursday game film, great gameplan on how to play PHX's bigs. Nurk has the talent, let's see if his mental fortitude is there.

Just saw Chandler & Faried listed as "probable" - that means they will probably play but minutes might be reduced

Ally Sturm's twitter says
Wilson Chandler - Right Neck Strain. Probable.
Kenneth Faried - Left Hamstring Soreness. Probable.
Emmanuel Mudiay - Low Back Pain. Out.
Nikola Jokic - Left Hip Flexor Strain. Out.

Yeah heard same roomors that is why for bettors there are some good options tonight...

here is the info...PLS do not bet this post is only for informational purposes

4th meeting between this two teams this season. Denver won all 3 previous games against Suns, but tonight I'm expecting different things.

According to fresh news on ESPN, Nuggets will tonight play without 4 starters - Nikola Jokic, Kenneth Farried, Emmanuel Mudiay and Wilson Chandler. Previously Jokic was highly questionable, Mudiay was sure out, and Chandler was slightly questionable. Now in this situation, that is HUGE problem for Nuggets, and I expect their double diggits defeat.

Suns are young and good team, especially at home. With two good PGs Bledsoe & Knight they can play high tempo basketball, and I doubt that Nuggets will be ready for that tonight.

pick: SUNS -2,5 @ 1,92 10/10

pick 2: Denver UNDER 112.5 @ 1.85 9/10
These Western Conference cellar dwellers played on Thursday and the Nuggets scored the 127-120 victory at home. The Nuggets have also taken two straight on Phoenix, including a 120-114 win back on November 27th, 2016. Note that with just 1:47 left on Thursday, Nuggets’ star Nikola Jokic went down hard. First scans came back negative and he had a scheduled MRI done on Friday morning. The Serb finished with 29 points, 14 boards and eight assists before the injury. If he is given the “green light” to go in this one, we are not expecting the big man to be anywhere near at 100% normal capacity. Combined with the “revenge factor,” the SUNS are definitely worth a second look on Saturday night.Uy

Really wish jokic was available tonight. You can really see how much the team needs him when he's not available.

Guessing Chandler's injury is really significant, he's 0-5 on the night....looking like a "Gallo to the rescue" night, he's 22pts at halftime, only Nuggets in double figures.

And of note, Nurkic has 2pts 2reb in just 7mins of play...does Malone actually know more than we do ??

Only 13 assists in the game so far , what a HUGE difference this team looks like without Jokic. Night and day !!

Jamal Murray looks to be "requesting" a few more mins with his play tonight, going off for 18pts
