Nuggets Bench

Post#1 » by NuggetsWY » Tue Feb 14, 2017 3:32 pm

It's hard to guess who Malone is going to start. One option would be Jokic, Arthur, Gallinari, Harris, Nelson. They seem to fit together fairly well.

Consider then the bench: Plumlee, Faried, Chandler, Barton, Murray. That would be one high-energy bench.

Too bad Malone doesn't believe in using a pick-n-roll. Plumlee & Murray might be close to DeAndre Jordan & Chris Paul with Plumlee skying high to slam the ball down.

What in the world do we do with Hernangomez then? I love his game and would love to see him starting at either forward slot or playing off the bench at either forward spot. I'd insert him above, but I know-KNOW Malone never would. <sigh>

 You're funny. Of course I remember, I love him for the future. I'd be OK with him as the backup PG but right now, I rank him right there with Nelson as someone that Malone loves, but they tend to be less than ideal for the team. Mudiay needs to learn and unlearn. Nelson is what he is.

Arthur was a bad signing..because he can't stay healthy for more than a 5 game stretch. Due to that I can't pencil him into the starting lineup.

Nelson (probably took the job for Mudiay), Harris, Gallo, Faried, Jokic

Mudiay, Chandler, Barton regularly

Murray, Juancho, Plumlee, Arthur irregularly (Have to see Malone use Plumlee regularly before believing it will happen)

Mudiay is injuried. I think he will take over the starting pg after the break unless his back injury is a chronic problem.
Canned in Denver.
