I live in Chicago now. Watching the game on TV it is amazing the Love Fest for Jokic going on by the local broadcasters. Stacey King referring to how it's amazing the Denver doesn't incorporate jokic more into the offense for his scoring.

Hey, that's peace? Making fun of us? You're right - our group tends to not post during the game so much. Our board is tame compared to some teams - not naming any TORONTO. At least yours is semi-safe compared to some others.

Yeah, we love Jokic but last year Denver had ZERO nationally broadcast games. This year we've picked up a few but eastern conference teams only see the Nuggets twice a year plus any national broadcasts, so not much. We get it.

I shall anxiously await an NBA finals of Denver against Toronto (my favorite eastern conference team).

The coach says he's the centerpiece of the future, but that same coach loves playing his veterans, all of whom are ISO-oriented players while Jokic is best in a high post with players cutting. When the veterans are injured, Jokic's numbers go up. Plus (my hot button), if Jokic gets 2 fouls in the first quarter, coach pulls him - that's normal. Yet Jokic often gets little or no time in the 2nd quarter then. Same with 3 fouls in the third - out and probably never back in. It happens all too often.

He's young and still learning. His first year he played less than 20 mpg. This year he's averaged less than 24 mpg until about a month ago - so his minutes are increasing. Keep watching, we think he's going to be great. He's definitely unique in the modern NBA and rather unusual compared to almost every center in the history of the NBA. He just doesn't fit the mold. He was actually a rather short point guard until just a few years ago.

Nice game - Barton took the most shots and he wasn't bad, but Jokic & Harris need to be taking more shots or Gallinari & Chandler - Seems like Gallinari is sacrificing much of us game, since December - mad respect to Mr. Gallinari!!

Chicago emptied their bench with 4:05 left
Denver emptied theirs with 1:45 left - wish Malone would learn how to let his deep bench get a little more PT at the end of the bench - then again, the Nuggets have lost some "won games", so a coach wants to make sure <sigh>

As much as I hope Jokic to get a triple double, I rather have him rested for tomorrow back-to-back too.

Malone o Malone. Why you still play the starters when the opponent has emptied their bench.

Hope #JerrySloan enjoyed that beat-down as much as I did. Another triple double for the big man, lovin' it !

Guess there may still be hope to get to 3-2 on these 5 games.

It helps to have Jokic back to "normal."

Not sure why you risk playing Jokic in the 4th with the game in hand but it seems likely it was done to keep the players happy. I knew they would play Jokic when he was two assists short of a triple double. At the end of the game with Jokic feeding Chandler for 3's they look like they were aware of how close he was.

This bothers me that he didnt empty the bench sooner, that being said no one played TOO much, hopefully there's some gas in the tank for tomorrow.

Solid win tonight tho, good things happen when Jokic is the featured player

For all the talk about Jimmy Butler, he sure couldn't "All-Star" a win against us, even at home !!

Nice W by the Nugs. 7 players scoring in double digits, Gallo and Harris' consistency, and of course Jokic being Jokic.

By the way, you guys think we're better-off without Wade whom we tried to lure during the off-season?

Long term? Yes...His salary and his minutes being taken from the kids would hamper the team going forward

Short term? No....His veteran leadership and ability to close out games would certainly have us closer to .500
