3 of our last 10 games are against the Pelicans and they are 6-4 in their last 10 games
Home Today - @ New Orleans Tuesday - Home Friday
We can NOT take these games for granted and they are important if we are to make the playoffs
I suspect they will be giving a serious effort against us because it would make a statement for them

Pelicans' last 10 games
4-1 at home including wins of 24, 13, 16, 23 with the last two being Houston & Portland
. only home loss was by 7
2-3 on the road with their three losses by 5, 8, 10 - so they've been "in the games"

Cousins has always had his way with the Nuggets, but I feel we play as a team better than most and the chemistry in NOP isn't there yet.

This team is lost with Jokic on the bench. Plumlee tries but he has no BBIQ.

We need a really good point guard to go with Jokic and help when he sits.

I think Plumlee is a nice fit - difference of opinion here - but he is NOT Jokic. I think he'll do.
As for a good point guard to go with Jokic, maybe we have one already? Not that we get to see him play PG much.

They can't hit anything, hope they'll have a hard reset during the break cause Pelicans play like trash too

<sigh> This team has proven that they can beat any team, home or road
-and- they have proven they can lost to any team, home or road.

This is a team that "plays to it's competition"... I think Hastings was right, they took the night off after hearing about Cousins resting, even though the Pelicans are playing better without Cousins

Nugs won't win a lot of games with Plumlee being the top scorer. No Cousins at home and lost. Unacceptable.

I have a big feeling we will have a hard time playing against NOP after hearing Cousins is out.

Our team has the tendency to 遇强越强,遇弱越弱(play to its competition). Our mental strength isn't strong enough.
We need to learn to pick ourselves up after bricking shots after shots.

遇强越强,遇弱越弱 - so true of young players but most of our minutes go to veterans, so what's our excuse? I think you hit the nail right on the head and it isn't basketball-IQ but mental toughness.

The Pels are worse with Cousins, Nuggets may have won had he played.

I'm a little surprised no one pointed out Jokic only played 18 minutes. Of course, the Nuggets' standard line would be "foul trouble" but he finished the game with three fouls. When Jokic sat down for the first time, Denver was ahead 26-20. Hmmm ... Yup, Jokic didn't shoot well but the Nuggets were ahead when he was playing. When veterans are having a bad shooting night, Malone might even give them the last shot: see also Nelson & Barton.

I saw in a Serbian article that this was only the 4th double digit loss since Jokic became the starter. That also says something.
