Hard to see us winning this with Barton and Malone being key contributors to this team.

"Playoff intensity"?
Is this the "make it or break it" game?

This is the first MUST win game the Nuggets have played in years. I'm excited to see how they respond to the pressure

Just imagine Nelson and Jokic guarding a Lillard-Nurkic pick and roll...

I expect Nurkic to be extra aggressive for this game so we might as well get him into early foul trouble to limit his production.

Best of luck to the Nugs.

I'm actually liking the end of quarter routine Murray does where they all run a timed play instead of banking on an isolation/simple pnr

Although it doesn't look like Barton sees him...

Out-played and coached in the 3rd. Keeping these vets isn't the answer

Barton has been absolute trash and is responsible for all of our wasted possessions.

Too little too late Malone needs to be beheaded for his inability to man up and bench barton

If plumlee wants more than $10 million a year let him walk. I don't care if we gave up nurk and a first for him. Can't let that make you feel like you need to re-sign him. No use compounding mistakes. Dude should be nothing more than a 12 mpg backup.

Nurkic is such a beast. Jokic is still way better but damn sucks that Malone couldn't find way to make it work with both of em.

^this. That's what the Suns did with Knight where they traded the Lakers pick for him and then overpaid him in the off season so that it doesn't look like they traded the Lakers pick for nothing.

Gallo chose the worse time to have his worse game of the year.

Hasting had Matt Moore on during his radio show yesterday and they were talking about how the team needs leadership. Hastings brought up Jokic being too young but still needing to step up and be the leader on the court, basically force the team to wins, and force them to give him the damn ball. Moore clearly said that from what he had heard and what he knew that some of the veterans refuse to listen to him and make no secret of that fact, Hastings did not argue or even bother to try to deny it. Watching the 3rd quarter tonight showed exactly what the problem with this team is, 2 touches for our franchise player while guys like Barton are jacking up bad shot after bad shot. There needs to be some trades this summer, if the veterans are refusing to cooperate with Jokic and refusing to play within the team, then they need to go, I do not care who they are.
