So, what do you think about Hernangomez II season ?
Are you surprised?
Dissapointed?

What do you expect from him long term?

Do you expect him to be back next season or maybe be part of a trade ?

Didn't really get enough PT, I'd say his evaluation is

IN-COM-PLETE

He's gonna be a very good player, perhaps could be a starter by end of next season IMO. I could see him having a very good career, he'll play 10-13yrs is what I'm thinking.

He has to play more than what we have seen. He showed a few flashes of being very talented but then his minutes would be so limited when Gallo, Faried, and/or Chandler got healthy.

Reportedly the team is very high on him but I would not be surprised if he is included in a trade for a star as the front office seems to be searching for that type of deal and according to local reporters they view Murray, Harris, and Jokic as their main core.

I would not be surprised to see him develop into a very good starting 4 when he develops into his size and is given minutes, and think he is a long term starter at least in the NBA. I hope it is in Denver but like most Nuggets fans I realize that the front office feels they need star power now more than building a better long term team.

The only surprise is that he never got enough PT to show us if he was good enough or just a streaky player.
Disappointed that our coach gave him inconsistent playing time surrounded by DNP-CDs.

I'm a fan of Hernangomez but I am not yet truly sold on him because he is merely a player with potential until he proves he can be a consistent contributor.

He is still very raw and makes a lot of mistakes but has shown flashes of ability. I think best case scenario is that his development timeline is similar to Gary Harris and really blossoms in year 3.

Anyone disappointed by juancho's rookie season needs their head examined.

This kid looks extremely special. He was the steal of the draft in all likelihood.

Excited about the Playoffs now that Durant has given other teams a fighting chance

I disagree. While I wasn't disappointed by his season, I would also not say he looks extremely special. To me, extremely special means all-star and I don't see it. I can see him being a solid starter and contributor as long as he continues to develop. Jokic looks extremely special, Hernangomez not so much.

Hmm, sounds a lot like what many were saying about Jokic last year. Not sure I disagree but not sure I agree. I need to see some consistent playing time. Spot minutes just don't show enough.

After seeing him light up Golden State, I think his upside is pretty high.

A SF/PF who can shoot the three, hunts for offensive rebounds, hustles, but a bit streaky.

He has been okay this season due to his inconsistent minute.
