We seem to do fairly well against the Warriors, but I wouldn't be putting money on the Nuggets.

Faried AND Mudiay playing some ball right now. Funny the two guys that are most talked about in trades came to play against GSW.

Murray is starting to get on my nerves.
Nuggets need him to grow but not at the expense of killing the rest of the team.

I"m just hoping Faried's performance tonight finally gives him an uptick in minutes over that red guy that gets all his minutes.

At the start of the 3rd quarter, it is clean we going to lose this match, but still it is a little bit childish from Malone to "punish" our 1st unit less than 4 minutes after the start of the 2nd half when the result is technically still active against best team ever (around -15)!? So bizarre situation in the beginning of the 4th quarter when players like Durant or Klay still playing ( the result is still technically active, around -20) and for our team playing DArth, Lyles, Beasley...

 Murray's hardly the cause of the game's problems.

Malone this offseason "Hey guys I have a brilliant idea, let's run off Chris Finch and redesign the offense, I mean we can go from the best offense in the league to a drive and kick system and be amazing."

This coach is an idiot. I know this was the 5th game in 7 nights, but reality is we are not going to win games against good teams playing this stupid offense, and basing everything around what works for our 2nd best player. He needs to be fired and soon if they want this team to make the playoffs.

Mudiay has been much improved these last few games and this season as a whole, tonight Faried played the way he always plays. Personally I think Mudiay is in a good role for him right now, playing against backups and focusing more on defense and hitting his shots. Faried never should have lost his minutes to Plumlee, we need his athleticism and aggressiveness. but Malone and the front office seem to have a hard on for Plumlee and like him more than they do Jokic.

Mudiay has improved so much that I can't hate him anymore.

Denver have played great second quarter, the offense was great, the Nuggets have scored in various way, than in the third quarter Murray, Millsap and Chandler have started to play dumb selfish basketball , like they do most of the time so far this season , its dubious to see how much Nuggets regressed on the offensive end since last season, last season Denver was one of the rare teams who gave Golden State tough times, not this season, we can credit this to Malone who never learns on his mistakes, his stubbornness to please Millsap, Chandler etc. will cost this team a lot. Also its sad that he benched starters in the middle of the third quarter where the Nuggets theoretically could have made one more run , the man have no idea what he's doing on the sidelines :(

Much of this loss seems to be directed at Malone (I concur) but we lost on a back-to-back to a well rested World Champion Warriors team looking for a payback. I never really thought we'd win this but would have liked to see a better performance than what we saw.

and there's the problem - losing to a quality team, no problem - looking pathetic while doing so, that's on the coach --- if a coach can't motivate his starters to play, he should bench them and maybe for a few games, NBA players value playing - if players aren't learning, giving serious effort, replace them - Denver has enough depth, maybe it's not all NBA starter quality, but most of our talent is relatively close between starter and backup --- I'll go back to my song of the last 3 or 4 years, if we're going to lose, at least lose while letting young players learn

"Effort players"? Jokic & Plumlee seem to give a decent effort most of the time.
Millsap can't be faulted; does Faried ever slow down? Haven't seen our other PFs though.
Chandler? I'd like to see more.
Barton? Effort? Usually, but he's a shooter and they run hot-and-cold.
Harris? Usually an effort.
Murray? Usually an effort (even if sometimes people don't like the results  )
Mudiay? Yeah, even when I was frustrated with him last year, he always gave an effort.

Oops, did I run out of a place to put blame on the players? Yup, mostly lack of motivation must belong somewhere else - most of the time. A coach prepares his team, he motivates his team (slow starts don't indicate "motivated"), he calls plays (except when a smart coach says, "Just give it to Nikola"). A coach designs plays coming out of timeout. Those are the areas the Nuggets seem to be lacking.

This game was the epitome of a schedule loss. There's no point in trying to draw meaningful conclusions from it.

I don't believe in that, team is just not that good right now , they already lost two home games and almost lost a game against Miami, Denver can't make playoffs without winning games at home court. Golden State didn't play very good basketball before they faced Denver, game was winnable on paper , but the Denver team have no structure as of now, I don't see this team having many easy wins, especially on the road.
