This is a HUGE game for us, we need to take out OKC to establish our place in the NW division. We've always had our hands full with Westbrook but we're playing better as a team than the Thunder right now. Time to set a new standard for this team !!!

No doubt! I still haven't seen the level of consistency that I had expected. Point guard is a growth position and it is hard to wait.

I may be prejudiced, but:
PG - OKC
SG - Den
SF - OKC
PF - Equal
C - Den
Bench - OKC
Coach - Equal
Both teams are rather unpredictable. Las Vegas says OKC by 2. Close games do not favor Denver for the last couple years, I'll stick with my favorite: "Denver wins by 10+ or loses".

Feels like the first big game of the year. Division opponent, at home, on TNT. The Melo angle is always there. Team we’ll probably be jockeying with for seeding later on in the season. Hope we don’t sh.... the bed.

OKC team was considered as a one of the so called super-teams before the start of the season but they did not meet expectations so far. IMO this game although important for the DEN is more important for OKC. I do not understand why OKC is playing so poorly, they have two superstars now along with MVP?
Maybe it is a because of too many stars or maybe they just need more play time together.

I wouldnt call Melo anything close to a superstar. Westbrook is also overrated IMO.
They can win games purely on scoring talent but they are not a contender. Teams need fit and a good system to win or they must have much more talent on their team that others if they play hero ball.

Agree, the Thunder are showing absolutely NO team chemistry so far, it's why they are looking like a lottery team.

Cmon, Melo not a superstar, maybe he does not play like a one right now. But once player becomes a superstar he stays superstar for the rest of his career. Nowitzki is not playing playing like a superstar but he will never lose his superstar status. This is how do I comprehend this.

I dont know if he ever was a superstar but even so if we are speaking about amount of talent on the OKC then Melo is not a superstar at this stage of his career.

I hate how Murray didnt attack Carmelo... If you cant take Mello of the dribble then you wont be much in this league. It seems to me that he is too afraid to play the PG. I love how we gave them rough play from the start though.

Tie game going intp the 4th.....but this should be easy because someone thinks Westbrook is overrated and Melo isn’t a superstar

Millsap is such a stud defender ! If his gonna play D like this i dont mind him wasting a couple of possessions. Props to Mudiay, he saved us 2 times and had a great game. Starting to think he might turn it around.

What a game by Mudiay, not the first time this year he's been the better PG.

So happy for Mudiay. The potential has been obvious since his rookie year for people actually watching games instead of box scores, but he’s had to hear for 2 years how he’s one of the worst players in the league. The guy clearly worked his ass off and he’s now back in the core.
Bought a yellow Mudiay jersey 50% off at the end of last season. Glad I’ll get to wear it for a while.

This is our best win this season. Don't look at OKC current record, but look at their roster, arguable TOP5 in the league.
The only thing which I don't like to see is (once again!) Jokic strange schedule in 4th quarter (played only last 4 minutes). Is Malone once again want to wait until middle of December, like the previous season, to realize that his biggest star deserves more? OK, tonight Mudiay played the match of his life, Millsap was heroic in defense (including career-high 6 blocks), and Westbrook underperformed badly, so we are not punished for this Jokic reduction. But in general, why we should do such gamble and so often risk anything? There simply no point to force veteran Millsap to play 40 minutes, while Jokic is "protected" (from what?) with just 27. I checked now his 2017-18 stats and believe or not, this is already 7th match (out of 12) in which Jokic is not Denver TOP3 player in played minutes (5th tonight), and also 7th match where he played less than 31 minutes. Such star is this season so far not even league TOP80 in mpg (last season out of TOP110), and only other "franchise player" which playing with reduced minutes are Joel Embiid (fully justified if we know Embiid injury history).
No sense at all.
Next match vs in-form Orlando is very important to win (home match, and we are an arguable better team), and go in the next week with an encouraging 8-5 record before we face back-to-back two our direct rivalries for a West playoff, Portland and New Orleans.

Watching Mudiay tonight reminds me how much potential he still has. He might be able to turn into the player we thought we drafted still. While you can't expect every night to look like tonight, he can bring so much to the team with his passing, driving and spot up shooting when he's on.
Not sure if anyone else has noticed but I have seen it a few times where Jokic will make an amazing pass to Mudiay, then Mudiay will almost try to out do him, and does with a crazy pass. It's rare to see two players with that court vision, even if Mudiay is less consistent. Fun to watch.
