Tough road game. We will see if and how much the Nuggets have improved.

Nuggets have some payback to dish out from last year. Really want a TD from The Joker. I expect Nurkic to keep that chip on his shoulder, want the Nuggets to knock it off. Division/Conference games this early in the season are SOOOOOO important IMO

Read on the POR thread that Nurkic's childish attitude is starting to flare as he left the arena right after a game, love (and miss) the guys talent, not missing his tantrums.

IF the Nuggets play team ball, they have a strong probability of winning. It's going to take more Jokic-ball than they've been playing though. Defense? They just need to hustle and stay in front of the Portland guards. Trailing over the top of screens is going to be very dangerous in this game IMO. We shall see.

Thing I'm looking for the most? Millsap cover Nurkic on a switch. Nurkic is going to think he's the taller, stronger player but Millsap could very well take the young man to school.

Jokic have to show up and demand the ball , he has to score a lot tonight if Denver wants to win tonight.

Sure, let Jokic play all by himself - I love the guy but Westbrook & Durrant couldn't win enough and they are two truly great players. LeBron can't win by himself, in fact, he's the ultimate team player and many think he might be the greatest NBA player of all time. Sure am glad Jokic is smart enough to know that he needs others with him. Yes, I wish he'd shoot more. Yes, I wish Malone would run last year's offense. But there is no way Jokic is going to demand the ball and there is no way he can score 120 points all by himself.

Not 120, but he need to score over 20 points tonight, to match Nurkic who will be motivated again tonight. That's just my opinion.

Yeah Nurkic is very good defensive player and he is so huge and strong. Tonight Jokic should spend more time near 3pt line. If Nurks try to guard him there than Jokic can pass by him with the ball.

Shoot the bloody ball Denver, whats with the forced entry passes ? And Plumlee should never shoot anything further than the rim...

Jamal is so streaky right now, superstar one night, falling star the next. And Jokic better start steppin up, how else is he getting his 20ppg+ ????

Let's hope we will play another great 3rd quarter this season.

This half shows once again how important Jokic is for this team. All other starters played very well, except him, and we are in -5 deficit even with Lillard and McCollum underperforming so far.

I really want to see Denver winning tonight.

I remember last season when Denver's hope for playoff were really high they lost one crucial game to Portland. Hope that Denver can take this one.

I don't usually blame the refs but this game was trash.
The Nuggets basically gave up on cutting to the rim or driving because the blazers were getting away with everything, and on the flipside Denver was getting the most tickytacky things called on them.

This new Nuggets offense flat out sucks, no movement at all, too much of Murray, Mudiay and Barton endlessly dribbling the ball and looking to score on every possession , this offense will be exposed more and more as the season progresses , Malone really killed something that was working very well last season. Jokic have to show killer instinct more often , he can't come into the game with a lot of buzz like this one , this flat , he has to be aggressive all the time, demand the ball , or he will become nothing but the average big man in this league. He is supposed to make the difference with his offense , 7 points in the game wont cut it.

Nurkic was still better than Jokic , scored easily few times against him , he's currently owning this match up, maybe Jokic can turn it things in his favor when they play in Denver but he must be aggressive not passive, like the last couple of games.

I will agree that he was OWNED by Nurkic....AGAIN, and that Murray has been so up and down .
