Look at the standings and this should be an easy game, but I'm still a little worried and not just because it's a road game. This game just seems to be a bad match-up for us in a couple of places.

Realistically, IF we can contain Cousins this should be a winnable game, but that's a big IF considering we're without Jokic and Millsap

The problem is this is a team of anemic defenders anchored by two extremely good defenders in Millsap and Jokic. PF and C are such important defensive positions that you can still post decent defensive efficiency with both of them in the lineup.

But if you take them both out we're not going to get enough stops to compete with many teams around the league. We need one of those guys back soon or to figure out a trade otherwise this is going to be a really tough stretch.

The real positive takeaway from the injuries is that it moves Chandler and Faried to their more natural PF and C positions. Hopefully, Malone will take note of how much easier things are for Murray, Harris, and Barton once they are given some room to operate.

If Den can just hang around in the playoff race until Jokic gets back they'll be okay. Other teams will face injuries and struggle through stretches too, they just can't have some massive losing streak.

Doesn't look like Faried is a natural center.

Sure would have been nice to have another center against Cousins. Faried just can't match him and it showed. Cousins had 40 pts and 22 rebounds. Yikes! This was probably the major factor in losing the game.

Holiday scored but that was to be expected - he's that good.

They only had 2 other guys even score double-figures.

I loved seeing Harris take 20 shots. That should be normal for him, although he was clearly tired by the end of the game because most of his scoring was first half. But he's been playing a lot of minutes lately.

Loved Lyles rebounding.

Loved the low turnovers.

Shooting was fine.

Lyles has a nice skillset. I feel like he just needs to work on his body. Like he's a little too heavy for the modern NBA

Cousins is a free agent. He's been really focused this year. How many centers in the modern NBA can matchup with him?

Faried is just to groundbound to be running around the perimeter. He's better served around the basket where his rebounding , size, and athleticism is a weapon.

Jokic matched well against him last game they played , also he had few productive game against him last season. If Jokic have played this game, Denver would have this game won.

Our roleplayers do not measure up to the rest of the league.

We are not 10 deep. We are 5 or 6 deep at most.

TC's blind faith and nice guy approach has not done **** for this team.

Didn't get to see the game yet, but starting Faried vs Cousins just seems like a disaster. Malone was probably looking at Faried's athleticism to work against but Cousins ate him alive.

Chandler needs to be moved to the bench, he's been terrible all season. Also gives him a reason to opt out. Really like to see Juancho start and perhaps pair him with Lyles, seems like we might eventually see these two start together in the future, why not get a sneak peak.

Chandler is not a natural PF, he is a player that no longer cares to be in Denver and refuses to give effort regardless of where he is played, but if he is benched he will cry like a bitch. Faried is also not a center, he is not big enough to stop Centers.

Do you even watch Nuggets games or just spout off crap that you read someone else say? He does not have the size nor strength to be a full time Center and has always been much more effective on both ends at PF.

Everything the Nuggets have done the last 18 months has robbed this team of depth and assets for little or no return, most of our young guys seem to have their development stalling, and we have a starting SF that openly does not care to try, yet the media does nothing but talk up Malone and TC. They both should be fired here soon if this team wants the future the young core can provide.

The composition of this team is about the worst I think I ever remember and it's actually putting Malone's incompetency into second place in my mind. I'd like to see Malone and Connelly both gone.

Won't happen....The Nuggets own most of the media coverage of this team either directly thought Altitude or controlling blogger media credentials, there will be not coaching/management criticism and this team will under-perform once again with the Milsap injury as the main excuse.

The Nuggets are 21st right now in home attendance, pulling in about 2k more than they did last year...but it's early. Keep playing like this and that number will dip and maybe we'll see some change.
