Drummond could be hard to handle. Plumlee is the only one with the size to contend with him.
Tobias Harris could be difficult. Faried might be the best match-up.
This is one of the teams where SF is probably not an issue for us. Chandler & Barton & Lyles & Hernangomez should all be fine.
Bardley vs Harris should be a nice match-up to watch.
Jackson vs Murray will be a good test for Murray.
The Nuggets will need to slow down Detroit's inside game.

Murray should play ALL his games vs the Pistons !! Lyles is having another nice game. Other than rebounds, Drummond is MIA and creating turnovers like they were apple

Very important win. And with back to back 20+ games, Lyles is now officially "player to watch"

DET has neem playing very strong backetball, so this is a good win. We should have won at IND too, so this tells me we have some talent (mostly young talent), hope this is out DEC 15th wake-up call.

Detroit has lost 7 straight...
I still agree it was a good win though. Any win without Jokic/Millsap is a good win that keeps Den afloat.
It's amazing how much better Chandler has looked at POWER FORWARD. It's almost like that's his natural position
Lyles offensive game has been a revelation for this team.

Look who they've lost to...GSW, SA, BOS, MIL, PHI and the Wiz....all playdioff teams
We did look pretty good, but there was chemistry...liking what potentially see I see in a Murray and Lyles scoring duo

Not a pretty game, but a satisfying win. One website said, "Denver seized control early ..." Not so sure Denver seized control as much as Detroit just couldn't do anything right to start out.
Can you imagine Lyles & Barton coming off the bench together? If Malone ever gets around to adding Hernangomez to the rotation, those three would be nice together.

Watching the game again, noticing how Beasley's game is really starting to mature as well. As WY brought out, look at the potential of that bench when Nikola and Paul get back....Barton, Lyles, Beasley, Juancho, Mudiay even Plumlee has played decent lately.
A LOT of energy there.

Lyles was sublime. Was Mudiay invisible again? Also, with Barton showing he can run the point does that mean that Mudiay is more dispensable now?

Lyles game is not flashy, but shooting 7/7 is far from sublime IMO. As for being "dispensable", Mudiay's name has been rumored in quite a few trades since last offseason, but he certainly isn't going to be given away. Malone has been giving him minutes this year and he has shown improvement but we realize he still is just 21yo and most young PG's don't come of age until they are 23-25yo.
