Another sure-fire, guaranteed win (according to the odds makers). So that means we can expect the Nuggets to have a great first half and lose a close one down the stretch? Here's to hoping they can win this one anyway. It's the way it should be.

Well, we should win this game but the Suns have been playing a tad better than us over the last 10 PHX (6-4) vs. DEN (5-5). Let's see how the BENCH plays for Malone tonight

Let's hope Malone learned something from the last two disasters.

It would help if he keeps Plumlee on the bench to start. It would also help if he whispered in Murray's ear that he is a point guard and needs to involve his team and not just jack up shots.

Denver is much better and deeper team they should not have any issues with Phoenix. But if the game turns into Murray vs Booker we will lose.

He hasn't proven to me that he is adaptable or that he learns much. He still seems to be trying the same things he's done in the past (for the most part).

Well, since Plumlee is playing with a dislocated finger and favoring it and since teams seem to have observed this, it might make sense to give him a couple of games off and perhaps the finger will heal faster. But he likes Plumlee next to Jokic even though the statistics appear to favor Faried next to Jokic.

As for Murray being a PG, he is a PG only if Barton is not on the court and since Barton is averaging over 30 mpg, that means Murray isn't really playing much PG. It's been like that since Murray joined the Nuggets. If anyone would research and/or listen, Murray was a PG in high school. Murray was a PG for the Canadian National Team. Murray was a SG for one year at Kentucky because he was taller than Ulis. But the Nuggets coaches and fans all gripe he's not a good PG. He has never been given that chance. Last year our PGs were Nelson & Mudiay. This year Murray gets a few minutes and then it's Barton. Denver is using Murray as a SG regardless of what the lineup card says.

Yup, better and deeper and should not have any issues - but those seem to be the games the Nuggets manage to lose.

Guess Booker has never heard of DEFENSE, Harris already has 20pts in the 1st qtr. Maybe Gary will have his first 80pt game

Suns bench is overpowering ours, not a good sign

Jokic is looking lost at PF position , same as when he used to be paired with Nurkic, this experiment with two centers have to be cut, it worked for a few games not anymore, Malone is killing Jokic's game again.

Great game overall but some very unimpressive sections, and not just the bench. But I'm happy. 8-)

TOV's aren't helping either, but I agree. We need Millsap back, defense is the reason Plumlee is starting along side Jokic.

Defense?
Tier 1: Harris & Craig & Beasley?
Tier 2: Murray & Plumlee & Lyles?

Well, that's not the way Malone sees it and we did have some strong defensive games before Plumlee hurt his finger. He also did have 5 blocks and 8rebs tonight........just sayin'

and since when did I agree with Malone? .... just saying'

I'm a bigger Plumlee than some. He's in the top half of backup centers in my book. Then again, he's in the bottom 1/4 of starting PFs.

Well, technically he's the starting C, Jokic is playing the PF  Nobody is disagreeing Plumlee should be the backup C, at this point I see that arrangement continuing because they want to keep Lyles off the bench for his scoring (?). Given that I'd start Faried with Jokic until PM gets back, Faried/Jokic have always shown good chemistry but how would Faried's D show ??

Best shooting pct we've had in as long as I can remember, total lack of defense by the Suns

Plumlee had a few good defensive sequences here and there this season, but I don't agree that he has to start because Denver can't play good defense without him, he's not that great defensive presence how some people including the head coach picture him to be , to me Denver play the best when he doesn't share the court with Jokic, last night they blown Suns when he was on the bench , before that Plamlee plus and minus was the worst on the team, and its often like that, while he sometimes make some good plays his impact on the game in general is not that great. He should come off the bench, start Layles with Jokic or even Faried , Plumlee should come off the bench no matter who Denver is playing against.

I'd love to see Jokic-Faried-Craig-Harris-Murray as the starters with Plumlee-Lyles-Barton-Beasley as the primary bench players --- working Hernangomez in as his health allows although we haven't heard why he isn't playing so ...

Arthur deserves some minutes in my opinion and I'd still like to see Mudiay get some minutes as well.

That'd be a 12-man rotation...you believe in the "everyone plays" theory ??
