Looking forward to a loss, hope Knucklehead gets fired.
Take a step back to move 2 forward.

At least I was glad to see Plumlee didn't start. I'd say Malone is wising up but then I see Chandler started, oh well
For a team with a "glut" of PF's, Malone seems to have tunnel-vision

Now this is the type of game Jokic should have night in and night out. Of course he not really playing against KAT right now

So much for Malone utilizing the bench, really shouldn't have to do that against a team like the Mavs

Not sure it's the bench but more how Malone utilizes the bench. Many coaches make sure they keep the right starters around when the bench is playing. By "right", I mean a key scorer (or two) off the starters when playing bench players. Jokic, Harris, Barton with 2 or 3 bench players - fine. Jokic, Harris, Barton by themselves with the bench - not so good. If they are all playing 30+ mpg, they should probably not spend as much time together as spread thinner with the bench/other starters - stagger their minutes a little more.

Jokic gets close to a monster triple double, yet we only win by 3 against the lottery-bound Mavs ? To let then come back from 20pts+ was a total lapse of focus, AGAIN thinking "we got this one" and "they can't beat us". Where is the professionalism on this team ??

"I thought we looked like a poorly coached team in that fourth quarter," Malone said.
Can't disagree there, wonder what the FO thinks of his confessi.....er, statement !

Mavs got hot , 4 minutes before the end of the game Denver was plus 14,15 something like that , I think Malone was panicking putting his starting line back in the game too early in the 4th quarter , especially Jokic. They should have routine Dallas but hey at least they won the game. Its nice to see Jokic starting to play like he played the last season, not just this game but one against San Antonio as well , hopefully he will be used like that in the upcoming games.

Jokic played fairly well last night for sure but it has nothing to do with the success of last season. They are still using him to set picks and post on the low blocks - last year he was most effective when in the high post. His success this year is because of his skill and effort. He's learning that the NBA adjusts and now he's facing more double-teams. He's learning that NBA players are now playing him to make those passes. If he were in a high post, I have no doubt we'd see more assists and probably fewer rebounds, especially o-rebounds. I also believe Jokic in a high post would elevate the Nuggets' offense even more and that players would stop standing around just watching each other play ISO ball because they would understand that Jokic in a high post means easy buckets for them if they cut to the basket.

He's getting more involved on the offensive end the last few games.

Jokic was by far the most productive low post player last season, he needs the ball in the low post occasionally, plus it opens up the 3 line for shooters. Jokic did well in the high post when on the court with Gallo, Harris, and Nelson were also on the court and drawing the defenses attention. All 3 could shoot enough to draw defenses attention and Faried was one of the best finishers in the game to cut when it opened. Now Barton, Chandler, and Plumlee are not spot up shooters, teams can collapse on Jokic, and him being in the high post is not opening the lane. Last night worked because Jokic was able to go into the low post and draw enough attention to get guys open with his low post game alone.
