Who do you consider to be the Nuggets' biggest rival at the moment? I'm going with Portland in large part because of Nurk...

Portland, but Nurkic does not have anything with that anymore. According to latest projections (after Cousins injury and Griffin trade), Portland is our biggest rival for #6 spot on the West, and Portland is a team which stole from us #8 place (and playoff spot) last season for just one win.

I suspect our fan-base will have a diverse set of opinions on this one. Some are going to say Portland; while others will say LAL and some will say GSW. OKC is probably going to get some votes and Minnesota too.
It's been a while since Denver was "relevant" (certainly not under Shaw or Malone). Ask again in 2 or 3 years and the answers might become more consistent depending on which team(s) are serious competition for us at that time. Right now? Our biggest rival is the next game we are playing and/or ourselves.

With 29 wins overall young Nuggets and veteran Heats are 7th in West and East (tied 13th in the league). But if you join Denver home record with Miami on road, you will create Frankenstein team with 38 wins so far (only GSW, HOU, and BOS have 38+ wins right now)!

Being from Europe I might be totally out of this. But I always loved Nuggets playing against Jazz. Especially at their home court.

Up there with “executing a trade” and “a balanced roster”
