This is a big game tonight, need a strong effort to get the win. DJ is a tough matchup for Joker but think he’ll win this matchup.

Then again, I think Jokic is a tough matchup for any center or power forward or small forward or guard. :lol:

Millsap is a game time decision. That was highly unexpected and pretty exciting news. It will be nice to see him even in limited minutes.

Jokic had a lot success against him in the head to head match ups, if Jokic is involved in the game he will be productive tonight.

Seeing some good and bad in this first half....Milsap and the front court looking good (minus Jokic)...starting guard play pretty trash. Murray sloppy with the ball, Harris quiet.

Milsap all over the paint on D, need Jokic and the guards to get it going.

Nuggets defense is seldom great and P-n-R is what they are terrible at. Have been during Malone's entire tenure.

Malone is such a "genius".

Refs shutdown Jokic in the 1st quarter with two ridiculous fouls, but in rest of the match it is exclusive Malone decision to reduce Jokic minutes radically without any rational reason except that make him happiest man in the world!? In 4th quarter when Clippers get the lead for the first time Jokic finally gets enough minutes, but in last 3 minutes, Malone put Plumlee together with Jokic (and we know how it will work), and of course in the last 30 seconds hi substitute Jokic with the player which make a very stupid foul.

So, in a most important match of the season (8th vs 9th on West), he put team franchise player which playing this month with Wilt Chamberlain stats to play only 27 minutes. Jokic is today 80%FG% 66%3pt% 100%FT%, but he played just 27 minutes in such important game.

Plumlee is probably the worst FT% shooter out of all NBA players with 20+ mpg this season, why he constantly playing during the bonus-off time on the end of quarters, even now when he is bench player? Plumlee 0-4 FT today is Malone to blame, he should not be on the court in last 3 minutes of 2nd and 4th quarter. Especially pathetic was that substitute in the 2nd quarter when Denver has momentum, but Malone only wants to embarrass Jokic at that moment (0-1-1 at that point).

That's a pretty bad loss to take, can't have too many more of those down the stretch.

Making matters worse is the teams above us won too, we have to make up 1 1/2 games to avoid the Rockets in the first round

To me this loss is on Malone, he’s the one who let the momentum swing in the 3rd, he’s the one who didn’t solve that PnR ( isn’t that his job ? ) and got out coached in the final 2 mins by Doc frickin’ Rivers

Do you remember the 1st couple of years Malone would say how the pick and roll was an outdated system that no longer worked? Yep, me too, and yet he has never figured out how to stop it.

I think Malone survives the year as long as we are close, which sucks. There is more talent on this team than our record shows and we all know it.
