Once upon a time, a long time ago, the Denver Nuggets would play a fast-paced game and perhaps they would be behind for half the game or more, but by the end of the game, the other team would be tired and the Nuggets would make a comeback.

Recently, the Denver Nuggets have tended to start slowish and take a lead, especially in the 3rd period. Then at the end of the game, their opponent has been making a comeback. Even last night, Memphis made a comeback and the Nuggets barely won.

Anyone else wondering if the Nuggets can hold onto tonight's lead? Seems to be dissipating here at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Not crazy about Richard Jefferson taking minutes away from Trey , seems like a fanfare for RJ in his former glory days, ordered by Josh. However, we pulled out a win, 2 of 3 on this road trip is great results so far.

Might be a match up thing seeing as how Richard Jefferson got 15 mins. The big rotation will also be a bit tougher for him to get regular minutes the way Malone likes to play Plumlee as much as he does.

Good win, especially on the second night of a road back to back. Another night where Jokic just wasn't that aggressive in getting his own shots but it is good to see us not need to rely on him every night.

if the Cavs are LeBron plus shooters, then Denver are Jokic plus shooters.

Jokic numbers seem very similar to yesterday game vs Memphis, but unlike yesterday match, this game vs Cleveland is the product of Nuggets brand offense no matter how much Jokic is involved or not. Denver scored 125+ points tonight with 35+ assists, compared to under 110 points and under 20 assists yesterday vs much weaker opponent. We should never switch this offensive system.

True, but I think Cleveland's supporting cast was better last year and they made lots of changes in the off season that never really worked out (but looked good on paper). Then they made some major moves at the trade deadline and their future looks even better, but this season is more in question.

Plus LeBron is better than Jokic - at least for a year or two.

I forget to report one really alarming "new thing" from last 3 games. We still remember that disaster vs Clippers when at the end of the 3rd and start of the 4th opponent have 30-6 run vs our 2nd unit in very short time so we wasted big lead and lose that game. Similar "black hole" syndrome happens to our 2nd unit yesterday again when at beginning of the 4th quarter opponent has 11-0 run after our 15+ lead. And today we have the same situation, after comfortable 15+ lead late in the 3rd quarter our 2nd unit almost wasted it all in less than 5 minutes, so Cleveland has 17-5 run at the end of the 3rd and beginning of 4th quarter.

This 2nd unit 35-40 min sellout of previous 15+ lead must stop now! Opponents also playing with 2nd unit during that period of the game, and actually, for an accumulated scandalous 11-58 run from this 3 games, they have no excuses even if they played vs aliens.

This is a big win! Cleveland with Lebron at home is always a tough game. Hard to believe the Nuggets won on a back to back.

We won both games on b2b, when was the last time we did that...
