Too bad Jokic's shot was bad against Minny. But still almost another TD.

Well, if the FO is that stupid, there are 29 teams that would love to sign him.

Not all teams are capable to add max-contract, but for injury-free 23y old all-star, more than half league teams will find a way.

And even if Denver really don't want to build a team around Jokic, it would be crazy if they do not sign a 146M max deal with him this summer. His trade value under 5-year contract would be huge, but if Nuggets chose team-option, they will lose him for nothing in the summer of 2019.

Most of the non play off teams would offer him max contract in the heart beat.

When do we have to accept/decline his option this year?

He becomes a restricted free agent on July 1st, I do believe.

Zach Lowe puts Jokic on his all NBA 3rd team. Lowe is pretty respected and knowledgable, I hope this is a good indication for Jokic.

He even references that first article you posted. Some timely analysis.

Why this is a question I will never understand, but Jokic's manager is letting them know not to be that **** stupid.

The agent has to look like he's is in charge, trying to strengthen the relationship. Jokic knows he's going to get the max already

Tbh, he didn't say anything new, just repeating what we all know anyway.

Looks like Joker is taking his contract year seriously, not only avoiding injury by not playing international ball but looks like he's slimmed down a bit too. I like the thought behind his actions, supporting his own cause !!

He did the same last year and many of our Euro-fans weren't happy. Not hearing much this year, but the national team doesn't need him this year (I guess).

There is no hidden message to Denver FO from Jokic Manager. Everything he said is with the intention to explain to Serbian readers how transfers/contracts work in NBA, which is very different compared to rest of the world. And the reason why he talks only about rules and options, but not about the upcoming deal is that as Jokic manager he must wait July when offseason contracts talk officially starts (it would be highly unprofessional to talk like the deal is already done, even if that is de facto the case).

Adam Mares on radio with Scott Hastings & Julie Browman
www.altitude950.com/podcasts/adam-mares-joins-the-hastings-browman-show-2/

I found some of the interview interesting - including "repeater tax" and "All-NBA" for Jokic and more.

Beginning at 5:30 in the broadcast, Mares said Jokic thought he was the third best Nugget going into last year. How is that possible? Did the coaches and front office not make his position clear? He also said the Nuggets didn't know what direction they were headed? Really? It sure seemed like everything was all about Jokc.

I know he's a Nuggets' shill but how can they even try to sell this concept?

I've heard from quite a few Serbians that they don't care about him anymore. I thought they would have forgotten about the snub by now, but apparently some haven't. Everyone is accepting that Jokic just might be one of "those" that don't play for national teams.

I heard the interview live, and with Jokic's personality him thinking he was the 3rd best player does not surprise me. What surprised and frustrated me was that our front office and coaching staff thought that Harris and Millsap were better than Jokic. That actually worries me, as much as I love Harris, it was obvious that Jokic was better a year ago, and i don't know how anybody would think 32 year old Millsap was better. If we can all see it than how come our front office and especially coaching staff can't?
