Washington has been struggling but they play rather physical and Denver doesn't usually play well in those games.

With as well as Torrey Craig was playing, why did Malone put him on the bench ?? Another great Malone personnel management decision

Matched last years win total with 9 games to go, at least that's something

Good win, nice to see Jokic 3rd time in past 5 games playing 37+ minutes, despite he is benched once again in last 2 minutes without reason, and his role is still different in G.Harris absence (Jokic averages less than 4 assists in this 4 games without Gary) but thanks to prolonged minutes, good shooting and rebounding he is still our best player.

Clippers lose, so we are now favorites for #9 place. For playoff miracle hopes, we must win in Philadelphia and pray for mistakes of other West contenders apart from Clippers.

Why do the Nuggets struggle to maintain leads? Could it be because other coaches adjust better during a game? Murray was very hot in the first half and Washington just tightened up on him. No one player, but just in general. Meanwhile, Denver didn't appear to make any effort to get him shots.

Chandler - 40 minutes but only 8 pts? Craig had 19 minutes and 11 pts plus his defense is much better and in half the minutes, he had just one rebound less than Chandler.

Malone pulls Murray for offense-defense switches late in the game? Excuse me? Murray's defense is worse than the "Ole-Defense" of Barton and D.Harris? I don't think so. I'm not even certain he should be pulling Jokic on the offense-defense switches, but I won't argue that one too hard.

Millsap started and on a night when he wasn't feeling good, Malone only played him 25 minutes. I'm OK with that except Malone only played 8 players.

I was concerned when I heard the interview with Malone saying he was adding plays for Millsap. I don't object to Millsap getting more shots. I do object to running plays for Millsap. He can certainly get his shots in the Jokic-centric offense that Malone seems to object to. Jokic didn't seem to have the ball in his hands a lot tonight. He only had 5 assists and he's usually good for more than that - IF he gets the ball in his hands often.

The last few days I have realized that Malone does not even know what makes a player good on defense, if he did than he would certainly not be playing our worst defender on the team in Barton on all the defensive situations, and he would not be substituting D Harris for Murray or Plumlee for Jokic. Defense has always been as much about BBIQ and positioning as it has been about hustle, moving quickly but going the wrong way is not going to make your defense better, but our defensive coach does not seem to understand that.

 Exactly - but with his Jedi-powers, he has the front office and media convinced he's a defensive genius. Plus he deflects enough of the blame on the players to keep everyone thinking he's a wunderking.
