There have been a few "Nugget websites" suggesting they acquire Carmelo Anthony. Yes, the man can score but here's three reasons he probably doesn't fit. (Make that four - he forced his way out, don't let him back.)

1. Poor on defense
2. Ball-stopper on offense
3. Huge salary

I don't know what Nuggets websites have been suggesting Melo, but with the current financially structure of the team there is no way to get him without going into the tax.

a year ago I would have taken Melo with the assumption that he was willing to put his numbers aside and do what it takes to help the team, as he had said he was doing his final year in NY, but his time in OKC showed that he is still not willing to accept that he is not the player he once was, and is not a number 1 guy.

No way. It's not a good idea. I have a lot of respect for Melo, and he's all-time great scorer but right now, he isn't even shell of himself. Pass.

He can't play SF anymore and lord knows we don't need another PF, HELL NO !!
