Evidently a decent rebounder that can hit college 3s at 40% - he's a four-year college student, so a little older.
He's and all-academic that had 18 double-doubles his senior year. Adding a seven-footer that can stretch the floor makes a lot of sense.
Does he make the team? I surely hope so.

Saw a lot of Welsh at UCLA. Just can’t see him ever being an NBA player. But who knows, I’ve been wrong before.

Welsh looks like he can develop into a Plumlee replacement, has two years to learn.
