Another assistant leaving

For the 3rd year in a row we are losing another assistant coach, this makes 6 in the last 3 years I believe. Nori was a Malone guy, so maybe it is the pay or the Nuggets not extending Malone so they likely have not extended the assistant at this point. Either way for as much as they are trying to get continuity with the roster, this constant turnover of assistants seems really odd at this point.

Had a problem with Fleming leaving, a bigger problem with Finch going but Nori is leaving to join Casey, who I believe gave him his start. Seems like a roller coaster for Player/coaching relationship but it can help expand coaching styles. I do question the reliancence on Malone, wonder what impact that may have in the future.

According to ESPN Adrian Wojnarowski Nuggets added two notable names to their coaching staff. Former all-star and elite shooter Mark Price as a shooting instructor, and analytics "stats man" Charles Klask. I guess Price should be very useful for Murray, Jokic, and MPJ further development, and also maybe to correct FT% stats of Plumlee and Vanderbilt. Statistic man Klask should be very helpful to Malone, to alert him early on time if some strategy or plan-B doesn't work.

Seem like good additions, but I'd like a defensive coach.

I really like the Price addition, I think he can help a lot of our guys step up to the next level. I can see improvements in Murray, Harris, Craig, Beasley and Morris especially.

Probably not improving Jokic - not much anyway. Can I add Hernangomez & Lydon? Maybe even Lyles? Certainly Porter might get a good start. Vanderbilt? Let's assume Thomas won't need his help much. Yeah, I really like this addition. Now, if he really is a miracle worker, what about Plumlee's FTs?

Cavaliers Request Permission From Nuggets To Interview Jordi Fernandez
The Cleveland Cavaliers have requested permission from the Denver Nuggets to interview Jordi Fernandez for their head coaching job. Fernandez became an assistant coach with the Nuggets in 2016.

Fernandez previously worked for the Cleveland Cavaliers in player development and was also head coach of the Canton Charge.

I believe they're also interviewing Wes Unseld Jr
