Who will lead the team in shots per game?

The Nuggets have some shooters and they have some role players that could shoot more but probably won't have the inclination or the minutes.

Jokic, Barton, Harris, and Murray seem most likely to take most of the shots. Last year Jokic & Harris & Murray all averaged over 13 shots per game with Barton just under 13 shots per game. Do you think any one of these guys will increase that? BTW Millsap took 11 shots per game and might be a dark horse to take the most shots per game. Thomas took 19+ shots per game at his peak and last year averaged 13 shots per game.

Personally, I'd like to see Jokic, Harris, Murray all increase their shots per game but that's going to be hard to do with this lineup.

P.S. If you aren't the first one to vote after my vote. Yes, I did vote for Murray because I actually believe it is likely that he leads the team in shots per game - but not by much.

I voted Barton, he's never seemed to be shy about taking shots and with him joining the starting lineup I can see it happening. Not say I like the idea but that wasn't the question.

I voted for Jokic, but Murray was the only one who makes me unsure about this.
20 Jokic
19 Murray
17 Harris
15 Thomas
13 Millsap
12 Barton
With all playing around 33 minutes per game except IT 25mpg.

I love those numbers and would be very happy but Jokic & Murray like to pass and Malone likes to call plays for Barton & Millsap, so I just don't think we'll see that many shots from the top-3.

Last year all of the teams averaged 83-89 shots per game by team. The Nuggets were at 86.6. The above numbers for just 6 guys total 96 shots per game. So those numbers are unlikely to happen - but I still like them.

My mistake by not reading carefully. This thread is obviously about FGA, not PPG. In that case:

15 Murray
14 Jokic
13 Harris
12 Thomas
11 Millsap
10 Barton

Biggest drop I expect from Barton because as SF starter he will never be a TOP3 offensive option on the floor (the same problem have Chandler last season), unlike Thomas which will be in the same privileged 6th man position like Barton was last season when coming from the bench.

Biggest rise I see in Murray, but Jokic 14 is actually 14.5 and should be very close to Murray and enough for Joker to reach 20ppg with his great and effective TS% stats.

No way he can repeat last season 12.7 FGA even with playing same minutes per game. And he was 4th last season in FGA (despite being close to overall leader Harris 13.6).
He was indisputable leader of Nuggets 2nd unit last season, and starter Millsap missed more than half games.
This season Barton will be most of the time 4th or 5th offensive option on the floor, and Thomas and Lyles from bench status will be respectful.

2017-18 Denver stats:
13.6 Harris
13.5 Jokic
13.1 Murray
12.7 Barton
11.4 Millsap
8.5 Chandler

2018 year only:
14.4 Jokic
14.2 Harris
13.3 Murray
13.1 Barton
10.6 Millsap
8.5 Chandler

NO WAY....seems unrealistic to say, there is absolutely A WAY. Now that he's in the starting lineup, not only will he be expected to shoot (and make shots), I'd bet Barton will take his promotion as a sense of being a leader on the team and "need" to lead in scoring...wish he felt that way about defense
