We can win this without Jokic shooting, actually without him playing at all, and without Juancho. But I hope Joker will stop with this joke, and Juancho will play at least 25 minutes, which should be his minimum when Barton is out.
Most interesting should be to see our bench, because Brooklyn is a team with one of most mediocre starting lineups in the league, but with one of best benches. They have no stars, but the roster is very deep, with 10 almost equally good players. It would be interesting to see eventual Plumlee-Faried match-up.

Denver Nuggets' new motto: We specialize in inconsistency.I'm not going to try predict who wins, nor what range the final score will be in, nor how many minutes anyone plays (except for Harris & Murray at around 32-34 minutes). I'm not going to try to predict who gets how many shots and I'm not even going to try to predict who doesn't even get to play.
My wildest prediction for tonight's game is that Scott Hastings will become frustrated at some point (maybe more than once). It may be with Malone or the players or the refs, but he'll get frustrated.

They need not overlook the Nets.

Jokic zero assists and 5 turnovers in 1st quarter
But at least he started to shooting again.

Not to belittle the Nets or anything, but trailing by 8 at the half against that team at home is just unacceptable.

Hope this isn't the start of the Nugs' mediocrity. Tsk.

the refs called a foul on basically every play on both ends during that 4th quarter.
Harris shouldn't have reached and had a flat out bad game...

Gary WHO ??? Certainly was the Invisible Man tonight !! And Torrey Craig needs to go to the G-League, at least he did something there.
Lost to BKN Nets..at home...pathetic. Someone needs to take one of Gary Harris' game balls

Also we are boring as **** to watch this year. People gush at our 9-2/9-3 record but it's not that impressive when you look at who we've played. It especially makes it less impressive when you lose to the **** Nets and Lakers.

According to Denver easy schedule of the start of the season 9-3 is expected start, so with back-to-back loses vs lottery teams Denver ruin all advantages from the 9-1 great start.
Malone once again started with Craig, and despite he played only opening 10 minutes of the game, that is enough for -10 start. Harris played one of career worst games (0-9 already at halftime), while Monte Morris played one of best, but Malone didn't reduce Harris usual 37 minutes nor ups Morris 22 (7-11 fg). Another big Malone mistake is not defending 3pt at the beginning, so Nets have 9-16 in opening 15 minutes, lately, it is corrected, but Nets have +14 lead after 15 minutes. Refs have terrible criteria even for G-League standards. But all mistakes and bad decisions would be forgotten if we just hold a 110-106 lead in the last 50 seconds.
Btw, in last 7 games, Denver won just twice 1st quarter and have 28th (3rd worst) -4.5 net rating in the league in these two weeks. It can't be just Craig effect, but more bad preparations.

Trash? We blew the 76ers off of the floor six days ago. The Nets aren't super talented but they play hard every night.
Good game. I look forward to seeing you guys in Barclays. You've got a solid ball club and Jokic is a stud.

I mean, we're much closer to a 45W team, not the 60W pace that we're currently going, but when the team dangles that carrot, you kind of want it?
Like at the start with winning some close games, Jokic playing like an MVP, the team playing a lot better defense, I thought maybe the tide has finally turned and it sort of has started but we're still a long way off.
Anyhow, Memphis, Lakers and Brooklyn were suddenly getting praised with 'omg look at their young upcoming talent' after beating us, and I'm tired of us being some team's success story. Would trade our win against Golden State, Utah and Boston for wins against any those 3 teams anyday. Because at least an honourable loss is better than losing to bad teams and then regretting about it when you miss the playoffs by one game.

Inconsistent play, players unmotivated and/or inconsistent as individuals (taking turns), weird rotations ... sure, Brooklyn is better than it used to be, but Denver still should have won ... sounds like last year.

lol Brooklyn's a nice up and coming team threads coming up on Reddit and realgm after beating us, just like one for the Lakers and Grizzlies. Nice being the reason for bad team's success stories now.

Two shooting guards who can't shoot - Murray and Harris 6/25 (combined) and 0 for 3, nothing else needs to be said about this game.

Lakers fans said the same thing before they went on to remain below .500
Main point for me is that the Nuggets start at the moment is no longer impressive and I question our improvements with our inability to put away teams we should be able to beat with no effort.

Morris should have played much more last night , to me he's more reliable at point than Murray , Murry cant handle point guard duties at all .

Well this is yet ANOTHER of those games we let go that we should have won. How many will we take THIS year ?
