Lyles needs to be traded asap. Oubre could be had and he is a huge upgrade. Could get some nice small ball lineups off the bench.

Great first half of Craig and bad from George make this +8 difference in the first half, so now is Nuggets favorites to win this game despite all injuries! Plumlee and Lyles should be little bit more helpful to Jokic in big men battle.

When Millsap is out ,Jokic is playing like MVP candidate.

After 2-9 in the 1st half, George has 10-15 in 2nd half, and Craig didn't repeated big first half. But we cooled Adams and Russ in the 2nd half, and this is 2nd game in the row where Morris is our 2nd best player, right after Jokic. But of course, the player of the day is Torey Craig, which overperformed offensively with 6-7FG (3-4 for 3pt) playing on high-level career-high 35 minutes.

There is no connection, actually Millsap better fit to Jokic than Plumlee/Lyles. The only real difference is Joker started to play now 36 minutes instead of 29, but that is related to Malone, not Millsap. And of course, Jokic is now forced to take more shots when 3 starters are out.

GG again fellas. Man you're going to be really freakin good this year. When you're healthy you may be the best non-GSW team in the west and you've got a pretty likable group. Good luck!

Please find another topic - we don't need this in every thread. We get it and some of us want him traded, some are willing to trade him, some do not want him traded.

I can't help you if you don't want to see it, his scoring , rebounding, assisting and shooting percentages are all up , he's aggressive and he's playing more freely without Millsap in the line up , Millsap is holding him back to be 20pts,10rbd ,8,9assist per game, basically triple double type of a player , which is shame.

By quarter +7 +1 -2 +5 against a good team, that's quite nice. Play is becoming more consistent.
Nuggets had more rebounds (a little surprising) and a whole lot more assists (not at all surprising).
More motion would still be nice - just look at the number of FTs. Cutting to the basket results in more FTs (typically).
Adams & George had good games - Westbrook did not, so it's no wonder that he was losing his cool at the end of the game. Good job on defense by our guards and the rest of the team that provided some help too.
Great game Nuggets! Jokic was impressive and we needed that. Plumlee's contributions aren't all visible in the box score. Murray, Craig, Hernangomez all provided some scoring, as did Morris off the bench. Lyles only had 9 points but he added 6 rebounds with 3 assists 2 blocks - I'll take that from a bench player.
Welcome Nick Young - 3 FGAs all 3pters (no surprise) and 2 of 3 (no surprise).

Really nice win. Watching Morris is so pleasable. He grows between our eyes. He became so confident it's almost unreal for G-league player last season. All guys deserve huge praise for their game. Even Nick Young wasn't as bad as I thought he'd be. With one exception- Lyles was terrible as always. On the other side- 40% FG, 50% FT, 3TO, laughable defense? Just his average day in the work.

But it's not that Millsap is holding Jokic back, it more he knows he has to step up to fill the void left by Millsap's injury. Jokic can do this most every game but he works more to get others involved into the game, that's what makes him great. Jokic is a TEAM player first, he doesn't care to be a stat padder like say, Westbrook is, or one that you want him to be.

Talk about terrible defense, whoever was on PG13 forgot the system, he was blowing by Juancho, Lyles, Plumlee etc like the defense was called "Matador"

So, it seems you want Lyles to be a whippin boy too. You think he ALWAYS has terrible games but you didn't BOTHER to mention Beaskley's 0-5 game last night, or that Plumlee had a near exact statline as Lyles and fouled out, forcing Lyles to play more minutes, decently down the stretch. Now I agree it hasn't be as good a year as last year for Lyles, his 3-pt shooting is down. However, he has been an integral part of this teams winning.
