Denver has an all-star player for the first time since 2011. But no reason to celebrate anything there, Jokic should be all-star already last season, and this season he should be a starter.

Since the start of this season, four teams lead the league, Milwaukee, Toronto, Golden State, and Denver. MIL TOR GSW all have starters (Giannis, Kawhi, Curry, KD), but not Denver (Jokic). MIL TOR GSW all have an extra bonus player, awarded because of the team record (Middleton, Lowry, Klay) except Denver (Murray).

But last night unexpected GSW home loss vs Sixers once again opens the possibility for coach Malone to make All-Star debut, and tonight game vs our new arch-enemies Rockets is must-win.

Truthfully, the Nuggets just don't have a second player qualified to be in the All-Star game. There are just too many great players in the West and our system (which we don't use enough) is based on Jokic, Jokic, Jokic (and I'm okay with that).

It will be interesting to see how quickly Jokic is picked during the team selection.

If Nuggets win today (or Dubs loss) Malone will be Western coach

That loss at Phoenix...would hurt if he does not make it

Just like in the 2017 Skills Challenge, Joker is stopped on unlucky way vs eventual champion in SF round. Jokic should give up in future from this event and be focused on... dunk contest!

Denver finally has a player in an all-star game this season. Just first of many for Nikola Jokic. He was robbed for not being a starter, so played just 13 minutes, instead of 25+ like other starters, so nothing special from Joker, except he managed somehow to be the third-best rebounder in this game with 9 rebounds. Coach Malone won his all-star debut, and his team played this game like Denver playing in 2019 since this new year started - awful 1st half and spectacular 2nd half

Hopefully coach Malone was able to establish camaraderie with the players he coached which could possibly entice another All Star to come and play for Denver.
