Another "should win game" - here's to hoping the Nuggets play well instead of waiting for the last minute.

Charlotte ,Philadelphia and Houston are the only three teams that Denver seems can not beat since Jokic became the Nugget . I can see the loss here.

We already have one painful and unnecessary loss vs Hornets this season, where we together with the game lose Millsap too. "Must win" game...

Do we really want Milsap shooting this many threes?

He's shooting a career best 37% from 3pt range. That's better than Murray & Harris & Jokic. Do you want them to stop shooting too? Shooters run hot & cold. That's just the way it is.

3rd game in the row we played disappoint 1st half, so let's hope 2nd half will be once again much better. Best impression from 1st half is that seems Millsap and Harris are definitely back.

Both Morris and Juancho seeing a lot of bench time, both having horrible games. really good to see Harris and Millsap back.

No idea why Malone is so reluctant to put Harris and Millsap back in the starting lineup. They're clearly ready and that second half seemed to tilt in our favor as soon as those two came back in the game. It's time for the Plumlee/Craig starting lineup to die.

Unlike last season, Denver was great this season in general in the 1st half, so I hope these 3-games bad halftime performances are something just temporarily, not step back into 2017.
Thanks to the Malone decision to once again not back Millsap and Harris into starting lineup, we won this game on the Clippers, Doc Rivers way, playing with two different lineups with 2 TOP4 players coming from the bench and with other three backup players (Beasley, Morris, Lyles) not worse than other three starters (Plumlee, Juancho, Craig). This time I will not complain about big-man minutes, because Jokic finally get his 34 minutes, and despite coming from the bench, Millsap dominate in playing time over Plumlee and Lyles (27 / 19-15).
But the problem with this two-lineups concept is that players coming from the bench are still limited in playing time, so Harris which is 2nd best today after Jokic played only 25 minutes. His 17-6-5 would be better of course if he played his 33+ starters minutes.
Jokic has a big game tonight with 39-12-6, but best from him today is to see him taking 29 shots. When Murray has a bad day, and other 3 starters are Millsap, Craig, and Juancho, Jokic must play on that way. Nikola doesn't gave-up from shooting despite at one point he was mediocre 6-16 (finished with very good 16-29), and he was 1-6 bad from 3pt but still trying (scored two in the row after that).

Looks like the Nuggets just don't play serious basketball until the 4th quarter - at least in several of the recent games.

But I don't like to see it if that is some new trend. We are still TOP3 by 1st half net rating this season (#15 last season), and that improvement in how we start the games have a big part of a current Denver Nuggets 2018-19 success story.
