This game is actually a big thing for him, a triple-double with 12 points in JV G-League case is a much better sign than some 25-10 double-double, because trust me, his ticket for NBA career is the assists. JV proved he can rebound and defend, but can't shoot, so Draymond Green as a role model is his only chance. Averaging less than 2 assists with awful Ast/TO ratio makes him look wasted pick even for 2nd round standards, but this 11 assists game is maybe game-changer in his career. Denver is a team without the G-League team, so we can't force his G-League coaches to give him a playmaker role, which is not the case with Minnesota/Iowa, so no surprise if he suddenly starts to produce 5+ assists on regular basis. But Ast/TO ratio is the key, he must improve it around 2.0 instead of under 1.0.
