Matchups are important - of course that's before all the switching.
Adams & Jokic makes sense.
Will Grant cover Millsap? Probably. Will Millsap cover Grant? Seems like a requirement for the starters. Barton is our second choice and Grant would just over-power him.
So that leaves Barton On George? Maybe Beasley slides over to cover him? Seems to make sense. Barton can cover Ferguson leaving Murray on Westbrook.
Seems like a game where the Nuggets will have to provide a lot of help defense or ...

I'd personally think that Millsap will get some time covering George

From the early start of the season matchup vs OKC was the most important one!

Finally a great 1st half in 2019, which is more important it happens in so important game vs team we fighting for #2 seed, and team which we will probably face this season in WC playoff semifinal.
Jokic played on MVP level, Murray great since start, Barton very useful... OKC is team with most overturned games in 4th quarter, it is not over, but double digit advantage on halftime should be enough at home vs anyone for the Nuggets.

Epic offense collapse and PG in God mode....it is incredible how we are going to lose this game.

Game ended up being a FT competitiom, but finally we got ig. Hughe Jokic once again. How the hell is PG in MVP conversations but not Jokic?
I love team reaction when they were down by three after wasting 15 points lead in the fourth. Westbrook also helped

Another great game, Jokic is a terrible matchup for OKC. Denver's just an awesome team this year and so fun.

Nice call, ye of little faith ! Going into the 3rd qtr PG only had 9pts, a couple of 3pters really spurred him on, yet still held to 4pts under his average. I was at the game, lots of OKC fans surprisingly. Many got up in arms once the Thunder ties it at 97 only to have the hopes dashed by the Joker.
Great game but it should have never got that close in the 4th

Just watched the highlights and I must say WOW! That sure felt like a playoff atmosphere. Denver crowd was really into it and this was one of the rare times I heard them chanting D-FENSE!
Feel good win right there!

Great stuff by Millsap in the middle of the 4th, he did a tremendous job and saved the team from collapsing.

By means of eye test, and even stats, Millsap has just been dominant recently. Makes me hope that a veteran like that is just teaching our young guns what playoff mode means. If our guys played as hard as he has this last week, I wouldn’t even doubt them at least taking the warriors to 6 in the conference finals.

My take on MVP is that Harden should probably win it even though I hate his style of play. He's so very effective at taking advantage of the rules. Westbrook & George on the same team both belong in the conversation too. Of course there's also Curry & Durrant.
Jokic just might be 2nd in my book and I've heard analysts talking about him as "in the running". I think he's getting more and more respect. But yeah, this year ... Harden!

Just wanna add, LeBron is and will continue to be the most valuable player for at least this year and next year. Harden is my MVP 3 of the last 4 seasons when talking about the unconventional way the NBA picks MVP’s (Best player not most valuable)

Okay, I'm still watching the game and just entering the 4th quarter when I took a break. I've been impressed so far. OKC is playing a fairly decent game and Denver has managed to play better. I really like what I'm seeing. Paul George is struggling a little but OKC has four guys playing very well. Adams just might be their MVP of this game. He's scoring a little and actually playing Jokic better than many (although Jokic is still doing quite well).
Barton's having a decent game and so is Murray. Sure wish we had some other players doing well, but maybe Jokic, Barton, Murray are enough. Clearly they were tonight but the question is; can Jokic & Murray carry this team with only one other player helping (on a rotational basis)? Harris has been struggling, does he need to start? I think I'd like that.
Morris & Beasley are young and run hot-and-cold, so letting Harris start might make sense.
Loving Thomas bringing it off the bench too!

Back when Michael Jordan was winning everything every year, reporters actually said they'd vote someone else as "MVP" just because it wasn't fair for Jordan to win it every year.

That was an exhausting game! I mean I watched it after I returned from work, like 11 hours after the game has ended. But without knowing the result so it was linda "live" for me. Man What a GAME! I had some negative moments, like IT pushing it too hard and screwing too much. I was going mad after Noels faul that ended with double T. Now I am so excited not just with Jokič's game but also with Millsap's. Last couple weeks he plays really awesome. It might not show in boxscores so much but he does so much and when it matters! Even if we picked that 30 mills team option I'll still take that as a good deal for next season. And even with possible decline of Millsap.

Barton had the best game he has had all season, he played well on both ends. I would love for that to continue and for him to shut all of us up.
Craig seems to be getting Juancho's minutes, and Craig was destroyed when they put him on George. If I can figure out that Craig really only does well against slashing guards, and Juancho is actually a good defender against large scoring SFs than why can't our coaching staff?
Millsap is getting a lot of deserved credit, he played very well in that 4th quarter, but without Jamal and Jokic carrying the team up until they were out in the 3rd we do not win the game either.
Our bench is a mess, Thomas is a large cause of that with his lack of ball movement and chucking up shots. It is clear that he is not the same player, but he does not seem to accept that. It has killed the chemistry our bench had as it is hard for guys to get in rhythm when the play style has changed so much so quickly.
