Jokic vs Turner --- very different players & an interesting matchup.

We really need Millsap to have a great game, especially on the defensive end and the boards.

Not sure how well Barton will do on the defensive end in this game - it might be worse than usual.

Guard matchups will be interesting & challenging for both teams.

This one is on Malone, he wants to teach them to play without timeouts? To addapt? And then you have Nate calling timeouts after every 4-0 "run" from Denver...

Ugly, humiliating loss... everything was bad. But this team was never the same on the road as at home, that is why is important to stay TOP2 seed for this young team and have home-court advantage in a playoff. And yes, technically we are tied at #1 with GSW and 4 losses less than Houston and Portland just 10 games before the end of the regular season but knowing how we play on the road and how looks our schedule - we actually still fighting for #2! I have more faith we are going to win all 5 remaining home games than any of our 5 remaining road games, we are definitely not the same team.

 Looked like they decided to take it easy tonight. Nope, don't like it, but okay, it's the last game on a long road trip which finished with 3 games in 4 days. :dontknow:

Jokic had his standard double-double plus 8 assists. Millsap only had 5 rebounds and he was second on the team. Murray & Millsap couldn't throw a basketball into the stands without a miss.

Barton had 1 assist with 4 turnovers (including a backwards over the head he should never try and a dribble through the legs without looking, which hit his leg and went out of bounds). When will Malone implement a rule that Barton can't have the ball in his possession for more than 2 seconds? Or maybe two dribbles? He is a nice SG on offense and a fair SF on offense, but he does not handle the ball well and he does not pass well. Tonight he was basically matched up with Bogdanovic who went 13-16 with 5-6 from 3pt range. Barton kept trying to cheat down low to help others and/or he'd go for the big steal (he had zero steals). Playing a hot shooter that is known to have range means you just can not do that.

Morris & Vanderbilt were the only bench players that figured out where the basket was.

Don't you just wish the NBA let teams have an occasional Mulligan?

When I looked at the schedule I knew this was going to be a blow out, I was just hoping we would be the ones blowing out the Pacers by coming out and stomping on them before they got their confidence back from a bad west coast road trip they had just got back from. Obviously everybody but Malone, Harris,

It is time to bring Barton off the bench, we need a shooter in the starting lineup and we need someone that is not going to make as many bone headed mistakes as he does good plays. Beasley should be starting at SF, he is a better shooter and defender and has chemistry with the starters that works well. Barton has no chemistry with the starters, our offense always looks like crap when he plays, and his bad defense is killing us. Nobody seems to ever find a rhythm starting since he has been back.

He can still get 28+ minutes a night off the bench on his good nights, with Monte being able to play on and off the ball so well than you can give Barton a couple of iso plays to get going. a lineup of Morris/ Barton/ Craig/ Plumlee being your primary bench with Juancho fitting in occasionally makes the bench strong as well.

Everyone else expects Murray and Gary to step up but I haven't because I knew Barton was going to be a liability in the starting lineup. Barton's taking a lot of those touches and shots away from them IMO. Gary was 5-6 last game! He was the 2nd leading scorer before he got hurt... He's barely getting attempts and just touches alone now. Jamal Murray just hasn't looked the same with Barton in the starting lineup.

I was watching bits and pieces of the game last night and I was wondering who was guarding Bogdanovic. It makes sense it was Barton lol but then I saw Gary guard him when he was hot in the 2nd half, Gary is just too small man.

I also saw a stat the other day that Denver gives up the most corner 3s in the league... Barton loves to sag off, so I blame him.

I can't see Denver getting past 2nd round and maybe even the 1st round depending on who they face with Barton starting. They don't need his offense in the starting lineup. He's one of the worst defenders on the team and it was exposed vs Indiana. He has his 1 defensive highlight a game and that's all you'll see for the rest of the game.

Anyways, I got my Barton rant off. Now, I'd like to praise Murray's defense that game because it was one of the best defensive games I've seen him play all year even though offensively he was bricking.

I believe the corner 3s thing is just a scheme design - Barton was out for half the season so it can't be all on him.

Agree with everything else you said though.

Well, I know he still young, but Murray has been in the game long enough to be gaining some consistency and it wouldn't hurt GHarris to be as well.
