The best Free agent pitch the Nugs have ever had

Post#1 » by Coeur » Fri Jun 21, 2019 7:08 pm

It’s right now. It’s this team put in place and how good any one of 3 guys could be would fit in

Kawhi
Klay Thompson
Kevin Durant

Salary cap space could easily be made.

I’m not saying they’ll even consider it, but if it was basketball reasons only the Nuggets could provide the best opportunity of any team capable of signing one of them

The way I see it, if we don't retain Millsap & renounce him; the Nuggets will have $90,652,959 and I believe the cap will be $109m with Luxury Tax at $132m. I don't think we can sign anyone over the $109m, so that's right at $20m. If we sign-and-trade for one of those, it would take Millsap + Barton and maybe another player.

Possible? Sure enough; will it happen? Well, let's just say I wouldn't object.

Bojan Bogdanovic from the pacers is the guy I’d take a shot at in free agency to fill the starting sf role. I just don’t think the Nugs could get him at a realistic price

I believe Bogdanovich would be a good fit as well He had one of his best shooting games of the season in Denver I believe he scored roughly 40 points, we need a small forward desperately the fact of the matter is we just can’t afford one right now so I would choose the center position to get more depth behind Joker

Welcome LeverRed!

I like Bojan Bogdanovic very much but the Nuggets are not likely to sign him as long as Barton is on the team. Too much salary at SF and they'd feel they had to play both which would squeeze out Porter (as well as Craig & Hernangomez).

Return to Denver Nuggets
