I am not sure that happened, there was a fake Woj account that was retweeted many times claiming that GRant was signed, but he has not agreed as of yet.

I think that's about what he'll sign for...and it doesn't say he's SIGNED, just agreed to. Source does seem questionable though.

They got me with it too, I actually deleted the fake woj tweet about 2 minutes before you posted your tweet.

Jeramy Grant re-sign is the only big deal we 100% know our FO working right now, so I searched for "Jeramy Grant" particularly all the time, and when I find that news it looked real to me...

Back in 2018, the first-ever news once free agency is started was about Jokic and Barton re-signs. I expected similar today with Grant, and more and more there is no news about him, I'm more and more nervous about that.

Grant is likely waiting to see what offers he gets, bigs are getting paid this year. I am sure we have a backup plan, but all indications are that he still wants to come back.

The good thing is that he doesn't have the same value in the other teams as in Denver. Grant perfect matchup is against teams based on forwards super-duo, and there are only 3 such teams, Clippers, Lakers, and Bucks. Some random NBA team can win series vs these three only in dreams, so we are one of just a few teams with a mission to beat these three.

Well that and the free agent money is drying up fast. Miami, New York, and Dallas all seem to be the last ones with cap space. Miami still worries me, but the Knicks are chasing bigger names and Dallas also now worries me after their draft.

Miami already has an elite frontcourt defense with Butler and Adebayo, and Dallas already improved defense with Josh Richardson for Seth Curry trade.

Looks like the free agent contract prices are starting to come down, maybe we will get Grant on a reasonable deal.

Christian Woods is closing in on a 3 year/$27M deal with Houston. I figured he was going to get more than Grant, so maybe that's a good sign.

Free agent money is dwindling but many MLE's still out there, hope you're right.

That was way too much money, but I'm not sure what we are going to do now. That's a big loss.

Grant supposedly said that he wanted a bigger role than we could offer to him. I was worried that he would get a big head after that Lakers series, but I don't think he is more than a 3rd guy on a bad team. He is getting paid that kind of money though, and looking for a bigger role means he seems to think he can get it. For that kind of money I wish him luck. Obviously we are looking at a trade, we are bringing in way to many guards and are shopping for a cheap depth Center. Tells me we have something in the works.

Interesting, he's probably gonna have to play SF because they have Blake manning the PF. It also bothers me that Grant said he wanted to start for a contender, obviously, he only cares about the money.

Grant averaged 11 ppg, shot 40% from the field, and 30% from 3 in the playoffs. His defense was good but not $20,000,000 good.... We'll be fine....Denver just needs to be patient and wait for a trade opening. In the mean time get another tall wing in free agency to fill the void until you can upgrade. A lot of people think Grant is a power forward but his interior defense was actually bad, which is one of the reasons he struggled with Jokic. I'd be fine with somebody like Mau Harkless for now and of course..bringing Millsap back is extremely important. Even if you overpay, you need his salary as a potential trade chip down the line.
