Forwards: Millsap + ???

This is not asking who Malone might use; the question is: Who would you choose based on our current roster?

Putting TC into the starting lineup KILLS our spacing, can’t see it happening he has suddenly developed.
I like to keep Grant at the PF and Beasley at the SG so my battle will be between Juancho and Barton
And I know I’ll regret asking this...”post trade” ????

Never said ANYTHING about Grant or Beasley starting (although I have pondered Beasley starting at SG while Harris returns to form), I just stated I'd like to seperate those two from the SF option.Coeur wrote:Barton has to play minutes opposite of Jokic and Murray. I have heard that mention by a few analysts, I think its gotta be kept as an option. Need to see if Barton can return to his pre-injury form.Coeur wrote:I don’t like Craig and Gary Harris starting together either but I think they’ll do it unless mpj is ready or Juancho shines early. I like Harris and Craig as a defensive-stopper lineup, add in Grant and you can see some shut-down possibilities. Grant/Harris/Jokic/Murray/TC still can put up a few point.Coeur wrote:Murray Fultz

Glad you still have that morbid sense of humor, that roster SUCKS IMO

Stop it. I don’t think this will be funny but you think that roster sucks? You think millsap, Harris, Barton, and Morris trades for Bogdanovic, Gordon and Wiggins. And Fultz/Bjelica and now that roster sucks??
I think that kind of statement says it’s not even worth trying w you. But I still will. No there’s not enough scoring help to make a unit out of Craig, Gary Harris, and Grant.

Well, I agree that you and I will NEVER see eye to eye, you are "outside the box" in fact I believe you're on the other side of the universe...![]()
First thing I see about your "championship roster" is it's financially unrealistic/impossible. You have at least FOUR Max players there and not even the GSW can do that and KSE will not spend that kind of money.
Second, I doubt that starting lineup will play well together, don't see a lot of defense on that lineup. You'll be playing Westphal-ball trying to outscore the other team...and we all know how that turned out.
Wiggins is an inefficient, inconsistent average scoring SF he's a $$$ anchor who is killing the Wolves salary cap, he'd be doing the same thing here. He shot 41%/2pt and 34%/3pt you think that's good production ???
Fultz validates my belief you're just a name-chaser, please tell me what has he done in the NBA to validate ANY trust. Maybe you just believe draft position equates to talent and that's not the case here or with Wiggins.
About the only one your put on this roster (other than the existing Nuggets players) I really like is Bogdanovic and even so I can't see him near the two-way player Harris is. Gordon is OK but after 4 years in the league he's still only scoring 16ppg as a 1st option for his team ??? And NONE of the guys you've added are leaders, yet you see a CHAMPIONSHIP there ??

Oh fultz one is easy. This “names” thing is completely opposite. That’s you guys. What do you really know? How should I know what you know?
It’s talent and value for me.
Trade Morris out as 1st round value. And take fultz in at negative value. Big contract. That can be expiring or 2 years. But if you have Murray, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Malik Beasley then the reality is that Monte Morris wasn’t going to play anywhere. Fultz is a guy I’ll have at the very end of the bench. If you get nothing you needed nothing.
I watch every single pac 12 game. And the nba. Ive seen fultz in person. He’s a super talent. And you know all the rest. He’s worth nothing right now. But when you want brandin Goodwin on the end of your bench I’m fine with how you think. I want fultz on the end of mine. He might ducking take someone’s job someday. Or not. I’ll yake lo risk high reward Nugs don’t need him. But what if he puts his **** together?? Still high ceiling. Low probability of getting there.
But yeah. Some people focus on the image of a fultz or Wiggins. I just go by talent and value

Can't do some simple math ?? Just add salaries of your starting lineup for next year and compare it to the anticipate #118M cap...if you can't figure it out from there![]()

Holey Crap, come on man you have to be trolling us.
You think trading a 4 time all star and our defensive leader, a top 5 perimeter defender in the league, a very good 6th man, and arguably the best backup PG in the league is a great deal for a decent scoring SG with iffy defense, a solid underachieving young PF, arguably a top 5 bad contract in the league, a backup PG that lost his jumpshot despite not having an injury, and a good jumpshooting with marginal defense PF/C is a good deal? Are you serious?
That is not even talking about the money, which puts us well into the luxury tax for a team that will be lucky to make the playoffs, and that will be with big growth from Murray and Jokic.
Sorry but you have to be a troll, there is just no other explanation.

I did a rough estimate and that "winning roster" would be about $140m this year and far beyond that next year.

getting exposed is hard. Sometimes those people throw their true selves as insults at others maybe without even knowing they are. You get some fire and you say look at my math. Look at your math. What’s your next year’s team/roster/ cap. ? Put it down and then we can compare and all see. But we know why you won’t. You should be done with talent and projections and trades. Here’s a chance to see if you can? But I know how people are. I know what you will bring back to this conversation. And it’s what you clearly fear seeing your post. It’s that you have no substance. And you have nothing but some defense mechanisms. Go with math now. Show something other than what’s glaring of you right now
