I think you have to let Beasley, Juancho, MPJ, Craig, and Barton all battle it out in camp/preseason, may the best man win.

Right now with Millsap they’ll prob go Torrey Craig.

I think post trade they’ll want Grant and MPJ with a guy they trade for.

"Championship roster"? Fultz is so questionable, most of the league doesn't want him. Bogdanovic is a nice offensive player but only average or a little worse on defense - not even close to Harris (whom you've obviously traded) and Beasley is better too. Bogdanovic is a nice bench player. Wiggins is so terrible nobody wants him, even those who hope they can tap into his talent are afraid of his massive contract. Gordan is virtually identically to Grant and not much of an upgrade and Vanderbilt is similar to them but could end up being the best of them. Bol is going to be G-League this year, so don't include him for much and why oh why would we want both Bjelica & Plumlee. I'm in favor of a third center but a young guy that can develop.

Morris - Harris - Barton - Millsap - Hernangomez - Cancar -for- Fultz - Bogdanovic - Wiggins - Gordon - Bjelica

This makes me feel like you are a Lakers & Wolves fan trying to undermine Denver's future.

Grant as a starter, but playing just half of his 30min at SF. The most SF minutes I would give Porter.

Wiggins is an inefficient, inconsistent average scoring SF he's a $$$ anchor who is killing the Wolves salary cap, he'd be doing the same thing here. He shot 41%/2pt and 34%/3pt you think that's good production ???

Fultz validates my belief you're just a name-chaser, please tell me what has he done in the NBA to validate ANY trust. Maybe you just believe draft position equates to talent and that's not the case here or with Wiggins.

About the only one your put on this roster (other than the existing Nuggets players) I really like is Bogdanovic and even so I can't see him near the two-way player Harris is. Gordon is OK but after 4 years in the league he's still only scoring 16ppg as a 1st option for his team ??? And NONE of the guys you've added are leaders, yet you see a CHAMPIONSHIP there ??

But if you have Murray, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Malik Beasley then the reality is that Monte Morris wasn’t going to play anywhere. Fultz is a guy I’ll have at the very end of the bench. If you get nothing you needed nothing.

I watch every single pac 12 game. And the nba. Ive seen fultz in person. He’s a super talent. And you know all the rest. He’s worth nothing right now. But when you want brandin Goodwin on the end of your bench I’m fine with how you think. I want fultz on the end of mine. He might ducking take someone’s job someday. Or not. I’ll yake lo risk high reward Nugs don’t need him. But what if he puts his **** together?? Still high ceiling. Low probability of getting there.

I did a rough estimate and that "winning roster" would be about $140m this year and far beyond that next year.

You think trading a 4 time all star and our defensive leader, a top 5 perimeter defender in the league, a very good 6th man, and arguably the best backup PG in the league is a great deal for a decent scoring SG with iffy defense, a solid underachieving young PF, arguably a top 5 bad contract in the league, a backup PG that lost his jumpshot despite not having an injury, and a good jumpshooting with marginal defense PF/C is a good deal? Are you serious?

That is not even talking about the money, which puts us well into the luxury tax for a team that will be lucky to make the playoffs, and that will be with big growth from Murray and Jokic.

I go through numbers and the only thing you’ve taught me here is that fultz on the end of the bench part of my plan at 9 or 10 is way to expensive to take the gamble and possible value growth.

So IF this championship were assembled, they'd have to win in 2019 because to keep this team together would cost OVER $324MM in 2020....how likely is that ??? And to do win it all in 2019, you've added 3/5 of new players into the starting lineup, I have to question not only the chemistry needed, but this lineup is VERY limited in defense (Love how you ignore/omit responding to those from my previous posts - again, no substance).

IMichael Porter Jr. is the wild card here. Practice videos show that he is not injured. The type of injury he sustained is generally repairable and his videos show it.

By all accounts, he was a consensus top three draft pick had he not been injured in College, perhaps even the top pick.

He is a small forward with good outside shooting and good ball handling. Defense will be the concern but there is no information available currently.

Denver has four small forwards (Barton, Craig, Hernangomez and Porter Jr.) Grant is not including because he will play power forward. Barton and Craig should be bench performers and Herangomez has shown the kind of shooting ability to be looked at as a starter but has been a defensive sieve at times. Had Porter been drafted top three he would have, without doubt, started ahead of this group.

He has had a year to work out with the Nugget's coaches and they have brought him along carefully and slowly, a perfect situation to recover from injury. He comes into this season with the experience of practicing with NBA talent. He has had individual coaching.

It's true, he has not played a single pro game but many high draft picks start soon, if they have the talent.

He may not start right away but I am voting that he will be the starter (absent injury) by mid to late season.

I wish I lived somewhere close to a gambling town because I think it would be worth risking $100 on him to win the NBA rookie of the year award. And I am not usually the gambling type. Should be good odds with all the folks thinking he is too injured to play.
