The Nuggets are doing so many things right these days. But I've got three things our ownership needs to take action on, in my opinion.
#1 - Salary cap/tax issues are coming - no doubt ownership is already looking at this.
#2 - A few years ago, there were rumors about better training facilities. I'm not sure how good our training facilities are but "adequate" is not enough. Veterans especially want state-of-the-art training facilities. It's not the reason they sign a contract but it can influence their choice.
#3 - Only two teams do not have a G-League affiliate. There are a couple of advantages to having a G-League affiliate right now and without a doubt, more changes are coming. We are nearing the point where not having a G-League affiliate will be downright foolish.

I'd of named this KSE rather than Josh Kroenke, seems more about the organization than him directly but that's jusr semantics.
1. I'd say as of now they've had a pretty good grasp on the sap so far, we're not in the tax and have escape routes for avoiding it next year as well. Feels like they're on top of that....so far, quite a few questions on the horizon.
2. They were have rumored to take out Elitches and make that space their new workout/training facilities, seemed like that was ill-planned. Could it still happen ?? eventually but as long as Elitches is there (can they relocate again ?) and profitable (?) seems like it's another "rumor" for a while.
3. I know this is one of your pet peaves WY, but it appears the Nuggets don't see the benefit of adding a G-League team and the expense (most G-Leagues are losing money) associated with them. So far we've done OK utilizing other G-league teams but Bol Bol is a C, and may need special training/regiment/schemes to bring him along properly. As of right now we only have 14 of 15 roster spots taken, perhaps there is a spot down the road for Bol.

I agree with you - "we've done OK utilizing other G-league teams". But your point about Bol is exactly why I think the Nuggets should have their own G-League team. They can control the coaching & training & playing time. Other teams teach other approaches and the Nuggets don't really control how much PT their guys get (I'm thinking about needing more time rather than getting too much - usually).
There already rumors of expanding the draft to more rounds just to select players for the G-League affiliates. (Remember when it was 10 rounds?) That would suggest the contracts of G-League players will become more of a minor league contract for the NBA team. Not having an affiliate will really be a penalty then.
Yuppers, we've done okay but the day is coming ...

I’ve yet to hear any draft round expansion but even so, I feel the Nuggets just don’t value adding an unprofitable venture that’ll cost millions for players making $100k. Seems they view it as more of a draft-n-stash venue IMO.
The G-league is a place where guards and wings develop, and honestly name me 3 NBA talent bigs who’ve come from the G ?

Well, the NBA itself is a wing-oriented league.

1- my worry is that they know this will be good enough and they’ll have a great year financially. Good enough because the fan base will be thrilled w a 1 seed type season. Even without much of a chance to win the title. Always just worried kroenkes will cheap out again on the Nugs.
2- never even thought about that
3- Las Vegas is the only answer for a G league team.

Not really - it's not a bad option but Toronto has demonstrated that having your G-League team close to home has advantages. It allows G-League players to attend the NBA games and it allows NBA players that are rehabbing a space to work out when the NBA team is out of town and so forth.
So Colorado Springs and Loveland are both natural options as well.
