Important road game - important because Malone said we need to win more road games and this is one we should win. The bad news is, Sacramento is scoring - a lot. The good news is, Sacramento isn't playing defense at all.

One week is a small sample, so I want another proof that we become an elite defensive team. Portland and Phoenix (in regular 48 minutes) can't score more than 100 points vs Nuggets despite in all four theirs last week other games they scored over 120 points!

Seems that Harris becomes a defensive specialist, and Grant completed our big-man wall with Millsap, Jokic, and Plumlee. Also, Craig minutes rise, and Murray's defense improved. But that is just two games, I really hope all this will be confirmed once again tonight.

If my calculations are correct, by Nov-2, after just 4 games, only two teams will stay unbeaten, Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia Sixers.

You must be confused, Sacramento is only scoring 96ppg and their best player is out. I'll agree they're not playing defense, but i'm alright with that !! This is a game Championship contenders don't take for granted, they put their foot on their throats until they can give MPJ, Juancho and Vandy their chances

Not happy to see another "a win is a win" type of the game, but as we know, these win counts too.

That said I'm talking about poor offense only, our defense was great again. I don't care about Gary Harris all other numbers anymore (and today he was good in the offensive end too) until he annihilates barely all-star guys like McCollum, Booker, and Hield which are 13-52 (25%!) in these three games.

I must say I'm personally very disappointed by this game, but only as Serbian fan, because not only Jokic has one of worst games from while (with 4-15 he was the only Nuggets today with negative +/- :o ), but because the other two Serbian players (Bogdanovic and Bjelica) have also awful shooting day with 6-23, which means 10-38 for Serbs only :banghead: . But I was happy at the end because Denver won, and that last-minute Jokic knee injury scare was turned into a happy end.

Our defense has carried our offense so far this season, I am not sure why but our offense has been totally out of sorts these last 3 games.

Harris has taken a huge step up this year on defense, he totally shut down Heild last night, Booker struggled in the Phoenix game, and McCollum was taken out of that game as well.

We need a starting quality SF, Barton nor Craig are the answer, I would rather see Juancho and MPJ rotating at SF right now, at least they can shoot.

Glad we won but it shouldn't have been such a struggle. Our offense is really struggling. That's usually because our players are just standing around watching each other do ISO moves and/or we are taking too many 3pt shots.

Our guards did a great job on defense.

I like Barton's play this year and if everyone else is going to stand around, maybe he should go ahead and shoot more (I hate myself for saying that, but ...). I also like his defensive improvement.

Speaking of defense, Beasley seems to have improved as well.

Jokic took at least 2 silly fouls - again

Its been tough watching all three games as the Nuggets look like they are still in preseason form. They end up giving just enough effort to get the win in the end (the old win-loss). Shooting has been horrific across the board. Defense has improved though.

3 down, 73 to go...3-0 and we have a lot of room to improve. What does say about this team ?? We're pretty good.
