Jokic was motivated in the matchup vs Embiid (at least in the final quarter), so he should be motivated against another big name center (Towns) too. And I hope our guys still not forget that painful overtime loss in the last game of 2017-18 regular season which cost us playoff that year.
I hope also this season will be the first one in the Malone-Jokic era where Denver playing with at least 80% efforts on the road. If we win today it would be a really great 4-1 start on the road, despite unnecessary New Orleans loss.

Low energy 1st half from Denver for the most of the time, with exception of Jamal Murray, but we scored somehow 8 points in the last 30 seconds so it is almost tied at halftime.
Malone definitely should not use too much Plumlee, Grant, and Craig at the same time on the floor, no matter how they good defensively our offense is just locked in such rotation.

Another road win but this one feels like we had our foot on their throat then let off, had to have Barton and Jokic pull a rabbit out of out asses again ! Now the Wolves appear to be better than people thought but we can't continue to play this lackadaisical and expect to win.
Seven down sixty-nine to go !!

Why does it seem like Rodney Mott is always officiating when we have a horrible time with the refs?
This was ugly, I was happy with the team through the 1st 3 quarters, but that offensive mess in the 4th was just terrible. They have to learn how to ignore bad calls and keep playing their game.
I do not know who is telling KAT to take so many 3s, but it was obvious he did not want to go into the low post with Jokic and his shot was just off, that is the only reason we were able to win in the end.

We only won one of four quarters plus OT. Barton had some hero-time like the first quarter fast break with Murray trailing and he was only looking at the basket - and had his shot blocked off himself and out-of-bounds with a fast 3pt shot on the next trip down the court. But he also had some good moments in this game.
Jokic is still picking up too many silly fouls and it impacts the game when he has to sit - of course it does.
Our starters came through, but barely. Our bench more-or-less played fairly even with their bench.
It just seems like our team doesn't have a lot of passion - until it looks like they are going to lose.
