Harden has been on a ridiculously hot hot-streak (although his 3pt shooting is voluminous, it's not high percentage). Westbrook is playing great. Looks like the Nuggets will need some serious defense from the guards.

Who will be the Harden-Westbrook stoppers? Harris needs to be at his best, but we believe in his defense. Murray's been putting in more effort. But that'll limit their energy on offense plus playing that level of defense can be exhausting. Morris can be decent. Beasley has the athleticism and has been improving, but ... not a believer yet. Will Craig see some serious minutes at guard?

Jokic & Barton need to pick up their scoring for tonight's game!

Arguably the best opponent we faced this season so far (Sixers played without Simmons), and the team which beat us in 10 out of last 11 games, so an eventual win will be very special. I guess we need monster game from Joker in offense and Harris in defense, and great Murray scoring night. And the bench to outplay Rockets bench.

Best win of the season. No weak spot in the team, even Murray's 4-16 ain't that bad considering 9 assists and career high 6 steals. But it is Nuggets super defense which turned this game into routine win.

What a very satisfying win!

Harden only took 8 3pt shots - that's an indication of some very good defense and it included our guards over-playing his left-hand!

Harden & Westbrook had more FTs than the Nuggets but everyone is used to that. What was really impressive about our over-all game was that we took 18 more FGA than Houston!

Our bench had 32 points and all five starters were in double figures.

Capella was a beast on the boards but the Nuggets won the battle of the boards.

There isn't a lot to criticize but I'll mention two things:
1. Jokic still picked up too many "silly" fouls.
2. Harris only took 9 shots. We need him to take more shots when he is open.

Jokic had a great start and I felt that was important in this game. Even better, he stayed engaged most of the game - with a few hesitations on open shots. And a few instances of not even looking at the basket. But we can live with that if he stays engaged.

Millsap had a solid all-around game, as usual.

Barton had a great game IMO. His 3pt shooting wasn't great but he contributed some nice defense and 7 boards with a fairly decent offensive game.

Harris & Murray made serious defensive efforts, So their offense gets a pass from me.

Grant had a solid game and so did Hernangomez - combined 14 rebounds with 18 points.

Craig brought in some nice defense as expected and added a little offense too.

Morris didn't have a great stat line but his time on the floor seemed to be effective in many ways.

We have won the last two games against HOU.....at home. Shows the importance of gaining HCA this season. Like that we held Harden to -12pts of his season scoring average.

Malik Beasley DNPs (who said he is healthy) are what I did not see coming this season. Wow.
