I expected a better start from Sixers this season, the team with probably NBA best starting lineup.
But at home, they are brutally 12-0 perfect, which means they are clear favorites tonight against in-slump Nuggets.

Fair enough. I'd say they haven't met expectations, especially Embiid and Simmons, but inspite of themselves, they are still winning. Theyr're also on pace for a 57 win season, which is great. I think they eventually get better, as they don't get over the hump unless they make a trade for a go-to scorer.

True and by that standard, the Nuggets haven't met expectations either --- I did
not say either was a bad team. Perhaps "not meeting expectations" would have been better wording than "struggling".

"Best loss" of the season so far, considering we played without Murray, and who was our opponent today.
Now, back to Denver after the current 1-5 awfull run, and please win all 5 upcoming games there.

Finally got around to watching the game. Barton's game was similar to the Nuggets' typical game: one great quarter, another quarter that was good, another quarter that wasn't terrible and one quarter that was terrible.
Jokic should not be called an MVP contender; not until he starts looking at the basket, especially when he has smaller players covering him.
With Murray out, give Barton credit for his 7 assists - to go with his 26 pts and 7 rebounds. He's looking like our MVP for the season - so far.
It was nice to see Porter get some minutes early. 6 points with 6 rebounds and a lot of hustle and some moments of looking lost. That's good stuff for a rookie.
