Tough matchup IMO. The key is Jonathan Isaac.

I think Vucevic is a tough matchup for Jokic. He'll be moving a lot and if Jokic gets distracted for just a moment, which he is prone to doing, Vucevic will be heading to the hoop.

Grant vs. Gordon might be the most critical matchup for us. Gordon hasn't been on fire this year, but we can't let him get hot.

I don't think Barton matches up will against Isaac and hopefully we'll see a lot of Porter or at least Craig.

It seems to me we are going to need some scoring from our guards in this game.

-15 at halftime. No energy nor intensity in the Denver game.

Denver is the team that allows fewest points per game this season so far, while Orlando was 2nd worst scoring team. Still, Magic managed to score 60+ in the first half!? We need our defense and our offense back in 2nd half, otherwise, we will face another unexpected lose against under 0.500 underdog team.

Went back and rewatched the first few minutes.

Jokic makes the first basket.
Jokic hits Harris on the way to the hoop.
Jokic hits Murray on the way to the hoop.
Jokic taps in a rebound.
Jokic hits Barton on the way to the hoop.
Timout Magic with Nuggets up 10-6.

Near the end of the first half, the Magic announcer commented on how the Nuggets started out with easy buckets going to the hoop and hadn't done it again since that first time out. He said the Magic made the necessary adjustments.

I noticed the Nuggets not charging for loose balls but just reaching for them.

Overall 1st half effort was lousy IMO.

An almost unbelievable 3rd quarter. But the only quarter where Denver dominated.

In the second half, the Magic analyst said the Nuggets don't get to the line often and he's right but tonight we go there more than the Magic did --- shocked me!

We also destroyed the Magic on the boards.
