Puzzling loss - at the end of the 3rd quarter, Malone's interview included him saying they weren't playing defense (4th quarter didn't change) and it appeared they had enjoyed Christmas morning too much and he was just looking for 5 guys that wanted to play. Clearly he didn't find them.

It sure seems like our starters lost this game:

Pelicans starters outscored the Nuggets starters 84-56???
Our starters had 11 of our 12 turnovers?

Our starters had just 14 assists - no movement (and shot just 5-20 from 3pt range)
Jokic only had 4 assists - were our wings moving? Nope! Consider our wings FTAs:
- Barton - 4 FTA
- Harris - 0 FTA
- Murray - 4 FTA
- Beasley - 0 FTA
- Morris - 0 FTA

But it goes beyond FTAs and movement. Consider who was taking shots:
- Jokic took 20 FGA (more than expected but always welcome)
- Beasley was 2nd with 14 (wow!)
- Harris took 13 (that seems fine)
- Murray only took 10 shots???
- Grant took 10 shots (nice)
- Barton took 9 shots (a little low)
- Morris took 7 shots
- Millsap only took 2 shots???

How did they beat us on the boards? By 12 boards? Their starters out rebounded our starters 36-27?

What is it with the Nuggets playing on national TV and especially against the INFERIOR Pelicans ????
