GHarris needs to clamp down on Beal for an easy win here. Looking forward to seeing MPJ build upon his success. GO Nuggets !

Bradley Beal is not playing tonight.

Bottom 5 team without any of its best 4 players...MUST WIN

There is no excuse for this to even be a close game. The Nuggets should win every quarter - IF they gave a serious effort. That means seriously chase loose balls; block out for rebounds; move on offense; move the feet on defense, etc.

However, what I expect is we'll win two quarters, one of them by a lot and win a game that becomes too close in the fourth quarter.

Lottery team playing without the entire starting lineup (Wall-Beal-Hachimura-Bertans-Bryant) which is always the most dangerous combination for Malone and Jokic Nuggets to handle.

Disgusting.

I feel for Torrey Craig man. Dude barely plays and then coach throws him in there to stop a guy that's hot. I can't see anyone in the league with that type of role. I know it's Craig's specialty but you'd have to think in his shoes... why give so much effort if I'm not rewarded with minutes every game?

I'd be ashamed if I were a Nugget right now, playing down to that level. Disgusting is right !!

Okay, I've been trying to find something positive to say.
1. We had two good quarters offensively (but four terrible quarters defensively).
2. We had plenty of free throws - finally.

On the other hand:
Jokic, Millsap, Barton, Harris combined to out-score Murray 43-39. Oops, that's not so good and when you consider that Murray also out-scored the entire bench by seven points ...

Washington destroyed us on the boards (and mostly everywhere else).

My take on Malone's speech, if I may paraphrase; the Nuggets didn't hustle, had no energy, and no passion to win - things we've been seeing all year long.

We're still a top team just based on talent. If this team will start playing with a passion to win instead of just playing the game now-and-then ... ... ...
