Jordan McRae

Not a big fan of McRae but he is a decent long-range shooter. He's 6'5" with a 7' wingspan. I know his reputation isn't as a great defender, but frankly, in Denver's "system" (which I still don't understand), he just might work out.

Right now we much more need SG than PG anyway, so this trade makes sense for sure.

A veteran who played on Cleveland's championship team and was part of that bench rotation. Known for being a good shooter and a veteran who knows how to play. Scored more than Beasley on average this season but this is a breakout season for McRae, obviously because of minutes played (and Beal injured).

The fact that Denver knew they had 3 point guards and still traded for a fourth tells me they were planning this move all along. They needed a shooting guard to replace Beasley.
Canned in Denver.

I assume they were trying for something more that never materialized and this was a fallback, but in all-out honest, this seems like a decent move. I can't complain too much about what the front office did. I don't think there was much out there in our needs that we had the assets to acquire.
