One of the BIGGEST games of the year, with a win we pull within 2 games of the conference lead. We have a knack for playing big against superior teams and this is one we HAVE to take. We're getting healthy so we need to exploit our depth and defense to take down one of our most hated rivals.

Rebounding will be the key, Lakers are going to try to collapse the paint

Will the Nuggets play well? The Lakers are tall and long. It's going to be a test of Denver's willingness to play hard from start to finish.

I could see Vonlah getting some mins vs AD tonight, hope his defense can slow down the Lakers tonight. At the least he'll give us 6 more fouls

Painful overtime loss. We are best this season when it comes to big matches, but tonight Lakers are a little bit better, or at least lucky. MPJ and Plumlee are missed, but not sure about Barton considering how others produced today without him (Murray 32-3-10, Jokic 22-11-6, Grant 15-7, Beasley 28-6, Juancho 16-12...). We should not be too sad, Murray definitely playing like all-star in February (29-3-6 68%TS%), and once the trade deadline is over, Harris not playing total garbage offense. Malone should stop treat Jokic as rookie once he gets 4th foul. He was out in the middle of the 3rd quarter and should start 4th since the beginning not since the middle, so he played 5 minutes less than LBJ or AD tonight, and in these opening 5 minutes of the final quarter, Lakers makes 13-6 lead with their two stars. Not only that we missed these Jokic's 5 minutes, but he was cooled off (9-13 before, 0-5 after that big pause). Fight for #2 seed will be even tougher after this loss, I guess Kawhi and George will play together most of the remaining games, and Utah, even Rockets are still there.

Let´s be honest, this loss was on Jokic. He is been fantastic in the last two months, but his 4th quarter and overtime were simply putrid. No D at all because he had 5 (dumb) faults and his offense was garbage, 0/6 with 3 TO in that stretch....horrible, the worst game I have seen from Jokic in a very long time (although he was great during first half). Howard had a really big impact in both sides of the game.

BTW, Malone usually asks for coach challenge in useless situation. He used it (and missed) when 10 still minutes remaining in an irrelevant play, and we could have used it at that horrible call Jump ball between Davis and Jokic which was an and one. Keep your challenge always until the last 2-3 minutes of the game!

Silly fouls by Jokic - he just doesn't seem to understand that he is more valuable on the court than any one basket.

This game shows the true value of a superstar. Two players beat us. Murray had superstar play, more or less. But Jokic had an average game IMO. It was nice to see Harris taking shots.

This game would've been a bit different had we been able to employ MPJ and/or Barton, a full squad with more firepower should've made a big difference but we wanted to give both the benefit of the All-Star break to heal completely.

Totally agree with you, and I do not object to players sitting out this game for healing purposes. The season's a long run, and we need to make sure we take care of our players.

Our guys played well instructions, but not well enough. It was still a good game and a good game for us to play win or lose.

Oops, that was played well in spurts. I'm using a smartphone, and I don't usually do that. Sure makes life difficult for a guy who's not smartphone savvy. LOL

I'm sorry but the refs and NBA should be ashamed of the clear bias in calls the entire game. I am glad it is time for the all star break as I have never felt less like following the NBA than I do now. The entire Nuggets organization and fan base putting up with such blatant favoritism to push a star makes me understand how the WWE is so popular, but I question anybody that would defend the NBA at this time. They have lost over 1/3rd of their viewers in the last 18 months, and are about to lose another one. That was despicable.

As for the game, when 1 team is allowed to grab, push, pull, and elbow on one end and the other team gets called for even coming close to the other team than there is not a **** thing that you can discern from the game. I took a day to calm down, but fact is Malone. Connelly, or Kroenke needs to grow some balls and quit caring more about money than they do about the team and call out the refs and league for letting this **** happen. Treatment from the refs in this game is 1 of the biggest reasons small markets lose players, and it is total and complete bull.
