Daniels was probably hired to help our shooting. In his last 10 games he shot 26% from 3 pt range. I'm loosing confidence in our front office! I seriously doubt Malone will give him any PT so it seems like a nonsense signing.

I started losing confidence in the front office after they extended Malone.

Daniels will probably play 1 game and get benched the rest like he did Jordan McRae. Pointless signing.

We lost Beasley, and Harris is in the past few seasons our injury most risky man after Millsap. But even with Harris out, I don't see we need a player like Daniels with Barton and Craig around (plus MPJ to grab their SF minutes). He is a 3p specialist but has a career-worst 3p% season, and out of all 17 players which played this season for Lakers he has the worst defensive rating, so no big surprise they dumped him. No big expectations, but this is just a small move, I don't want to overreact because of it. What confuses me the most, in this case, is why we dumped just few days ago very similar player Jordan McRae which actually has a better year.

Well, if Morris gets hurt, do you think Malone could trust Dozier 100% ?

Well at SG that means he is 5th in the rotation. Why should he get minutes? What team plays more than 9-10 guys in the regular season and more than 8-9 during the playoffs. Every team has 5 guys or so who know they likely are not getting minutes and are tgere for practice and injuries. Daniels has been around the league long enough to understand his role.

Let say it openly, despite we are WC 2nd seed last season and no more superteams around like GSW was 2015-2019, our front office has zero trusts in our eventual 2020 chances to get the ring. So, that is why we spend last summer 30M on 10M worthy veteran Millsap, and before the trade deadline loses potentially useful players Beasley and Juancho to get or sign 2020 useless players like KBD, Volneh, or Daniels only to get some long shot late 1st rounder which we will use in the best case around 2023. I'm many times here pointed out that when some team starts to perform very well even for TOP10 teams standards that is no reason for the *happiness* but extra reason to improve that team for the playoff. This season was projected and destined to be Miami Heat transitional season in the team's rebuilding, but when development goes faster than anyone expected, Pat Riley didn't wasted opportunity to make "winning now" moves before trade deadline and despite cap-hell he find the way to bring the team two elite defenders Iguodala and Crowder. Crowder in this playoff is used as a starter over 30mpg (13-6), Iguodala 20mpg from the bench.

No offense Joker, but I don't agree with a lot of your narrative here. I don't buy that the FO has zero confidence in the team, I feel just the opposite. I think they trusted their core and didn't want to disrupt it, picking up Millsap's option turned out better than not and resigning him to a cheaper 2-3 year extension. And I for one can see the potential KBD has, you're ready to write him off before seeing what he can do with a full season. As for the late long-shot 1st, haven't we BUILT this team thru the draft ?? Granted we may not get a starter there but Bol and Morris were 2ND ROUNDERS and there is some player there, give it a shot before whining, sour grapes over the Beasley/Juancho trade.

You continue to whine about the Beasley trade, I get that but they had to do something (should have started him, many of us agree with that) and they made the choice between trading him or GHarris, did they choose wrong ??? Perhaps but Gary's D really helped us out vs LAC. No use crying over spilt milk dude.

I can't say that I saw the Miami Heat playing in the ECF, but they have done a great job, Because they have that's allowing you to use your 2020 hindsight to pick the Heat for comparison value, real hard to do ....but we're in the WCF too so where's our credit ???? I will give you that TC needs to be able to work trades better but we can't all be a Pat Riley, he's a true master. Spo is also a top coach, can't say I always believed that but I have changed my tune there.

I hear your frustrations, this team is far from perfect. However, we are one of the youngest teams in the playoffs, we're showing more heart, resilience, and toughness than these grizzled veteran teams, I'm happy because this core IS A CONTENDER RIGHT NOW and can be for many years to come, our window is just opening for tears to come. Enjoy it while you can!!

My frustration with the construction of our team is that it almost seems like our front office takes players that our coach doesn't want to use. That's not all that unusual, when it comes to adding young players; but if a player has been in the league 5+ years, it just doesn't make sense to sign them to not use them. I get the "locker room presence" but the coaching staff can provide some of that and even our young players have been around long enough that they don't really need a lot of "locker room presence" from the veterans. Millsap brings plenty of that all by himself and more seems unnecessary. I wish they would have used the end of the bench for evaluating some young players.

Let's see what happens during the upcoming off-season. Do the Nuggets keep any one over 28? They now have all the experience they need - playoff experience of the greatest kind. One deep bench big and one deep bench wing should be enough.

But that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before.

In addition, we hear endless complaints that MPJ doesn't play enough. If Beasley, Juancho, some other player, were playing now that would eat into MPJ minutes.

I didn't say this FO has zero confidence in this team, but that before and during this season they give zero chances to our team to win the 2020 ring, and they arguably acted like we are a team in the middle of the building process, not a truly serious 2020 contender. How important are roster improvements we can see from the only roster improvements they did with trading our late first for expiring Jeramy Grant. Without Grant, we maybe will not beat Jazz and especially the Clippers or Lakers. But that move is undermined by trading expiring Beasley for late 1st. BTW just look at all teams that playing conference finals this season and you will see how important is roster improvements for contenders. Two-way useful Grant is our biggest addition this season... BUT... Miami added this season all-star Butler, Boston added all-star Kemba Walker, and Lakers added all-star Davis!!

If we lost 1st round against Utah of course I would be frustrated. If we lost 0-4 or 1-4 vs Clippers in 2nd round I would not be happy too. For me whole this 2020 year TOP2 contenders to win the title are the Lakers and Clippers, so beating the Clippers we already overperformed in my eyes, and in the Nuggets case reaching the conference finals means (tied) the franchise biggest success already. So of course I'm already happy and proud of our 2020 results whatever happens vs LA Lakers. But if we lose vs Lakers that Beasley mistake would make me sick, because just like the Jazz and Clippers series was perfect for Gary Harris to show-up with his defensive skills, the Lakers series is totally opposite case for Harris, while for Beasley it would be the perfect opportunity. I don't think there is any Denver fan which not enjoying this playoff so far, so I'm not the exception for sure
