Look, we have enough damage from Malone "punishing" Nurkic, Faried, Lyles, Juancho, Beasley in the near past. His last
scapegoat offender is Michael Porter Jr, and he answered
very well on his punishment - MPJ's TS% suddenly dropped from 60% to 29% in Nuggets last 5 games.
So, the last thing we need at the moment is MALONE "to fix" Jokic. I agree that Jokic was scandalously passive in this game with taking only 10 shots (without single FTA) in 34 minutes. But he still produced near triple-double all-star performance (or close) with 7-10FG and 14-13-8, with +5 in +/- column, while Plumlee playing just 14 minutes managed to have -19 in +/-!
I don't think Jokic needs a better sports psychiatrist nor fewer minutes on the floor, more likely Joker needs a better coach (and mentor)!
And talking about our bench +/- in Dallas it is not an alone accident. Thanks to Malone we lost lately our best bench shooter Beasley, we lost our key player for the team's good chemistry Juancho, and our bench player with the highest potential Porter was finally broken by coach mobbing.
Except in Gary Harris case, which offense finally showed some signs of recovery (but unfortunately he drops the level of his defense), and Will Barton case, for which Malone created perfect conditions, this team is bleeding in March, and lost his soul (not only Jokic which case is most obvious)!
