Denver playing another game without 3 starters vs in-form and healthy playoff opponent.

Beating OKC today we are on a good way to set-up OKC in 1st round of this season playoff, which is arguably best-case scenario for Nuggets (alternates are Utah and Houston), and the team which we beat 7 times in past 8 games.

The key thing today is to survive somehow today's big OKC backcourt advantage (CP3-SGA vs Morris-Craig). When Murray is out my biggest hope to join Joker in production is already "The Starter" MPJ.

MPJ off to a rocking start with 16pts with MUCH better proficiency. Looks like he'll be showing that he needs to be replacing someone in the starting line-up soon. Too bad about our 3 starters missing AGAIN,

I know MPJ is already capable of a 20-10 type of game!

Oh, wait... it is just halftime!?

I really don't know why Malone still insist on moving Jokic from the court in 1st half final minute, even when we playing without 3 starters, so we playing basically with 2nd unit vs opponents 1st that last minute, and with team's worst FT shooter Plumlee when the bonus is out. So, instead +4 we finished halftime on -1 losing final minute 0-5 without Jokic (including Plumlee 2 missed FT's).

last I looked we had a 10pt lead, Plumlee's defense must've changed that...

Very apparent the Monte Morris in a better BACKUP point guard than he is a starter. Murray being missed a lot, 2/5 of of starters missing 1/4 of the restart, can we opt them out instead of paying for nothing ??

Grant is not shooting well, very different game from vs. MIA. Jekyll and Hyde here, liked him playing with MPJ but Millsap seems to be playing better in the starting line-up so Malone needs to work this out. Again, with 3 players out out bench looks like crap.

Jokic took over and MPJ looks like a future star. Not a bad night for a Nugget's fan.

MPJ comes up HUGE, Jokic triple double, even Morris must've been listening, played a great 2nd half. Much needed/deserved win !!

To be honest, I hoped Malone will call the action for Daniels on that last shot at the regular time  because wanted to see MPJ 40+ game and Jokic another triple-double. Unfortunately, MPJ was passive and shy in overtime and didn't achieve that extremely rare 40-10 achievement for a rookie.

MPJ with 37-12 and Jokic with 30 points triple-double have monster games today, but Millsap and Morris with 17 pts both also deserved big credit, because rest of the team with 6-3-3-3-3-2 points (29% 8/28) was offensively pretty useless.

An exciting game to watch and a very bizarre one (as expected from a game where one team playing without both backcourt starters vs team which two best players are backcourt duo). I'm pretty sure Chris Paul never in his life was so many times during a single game guarded by so many taller players. Talking about negative things it is definitely 3pt stats once again since the restart (including warm-up games): Nuggets 7-25 (28%), the opponent 15-36 (42%), but this time Nuggets survived somehow.

Disappointing, the bench only scored 14pts with only Bol (in ONLY 3mins) shooting over 25%. F Abdel Nader outscored our bench alone with 13pts making sure our starting unit HAD to play big mins to win this game.

People question Jokic, much like last playoffs he averaging 24.5PPG 9.5rpg and 8apg...true it's only 2 games preparing for the playoffs but this guy prepared for this run, wish all out players prepared like he has.

Jokic needs to shoot corner threes instead of the top ones , he never missed those,i never saw him missed one.

Maybe so, but that takes away 2/3 of his court vision

44 minutes for Porter - no wonder he was a little tired late in the game  12-16 FG% with 9-9 FTs and on a night when the rest of the Nuggets went 2-19 from three, he hit 4-6! He tied Jokic for most boards - I just don't see how he can be kept on the bench regardless of his defense. There have been worse defenders in the league for sure. At least he makes a solid effort on defense and no doubt the more he plays, the better his defense will get.

Millsap had a typical Millsap-game. Very, very nice in an unimpressive way.

Jokic did everything but hit 3s - I'm happy!

Morris was 6-12 with 5-5 FT and 4 boards and 4 assists and 0 turnovers. He's a great backup and did a decent job filling in for Murray. I'll take 17 points from a substitute PG any game. That's almost as many points as Murray averages and Morris does it so quietly.

Those four players scored all but 20 of our points and the rest of the players not only didn't score, but their defense was lacking as well.

Craig wasn't very impressive on offense for sure and frankly, I felt like his defense was a little weaker than his normal.

Grant's game disappeared.

Plumlee didn't do much.

Dozier didn't impress anyone.

Daniels looked like a different man compared to the scrimmage games.

Why didn't Bol play a few of those ineffective Grant/Plumlee minutes?
