According to an Avs site, the Pepsi Center has been renamed Ball Arena. Is this verified?

After 21 years, Pepsi Center to be renamed Ball Arena as part of new partnershipThis comes from nowhere but the deal is done already. Seems that the Kroenke family prefers in Denver to be more close and connected with the local Colorado community.

I was waiting for that. There is a lot of ideas that can be generated from such a name. Going to be hard to keep it clean.

The 2 most surprising things in this deal is that it has been 21 years since the Pepsi Center has been around (making some of us feel very old), and that it took a year for them to find a different sponsor than Pepsi because if I remember correctly it was a 20 year deal that Pepsi signed.
