Short preseason this year, without Summer League and with just three games.

The good news is that everyone is healthy.
According to some sources, Jokic again gains some weight, while Bol Bol lost some weight (personally, I don't love to hear this).
The most interesting thing to watch is Harris's offense, Porter's defense, who are starters, how Green fits into the system, Barton, Millsap, and Bol Bol's role...

Nice to hear that Nuggets fans are not the only ones excited about the upcoming Nuggets season.

Preview: Denver Nuggets open preseason against Warriors...
How do the new guys fit in?
All eyes will be on Denver’s new players and how they fit on the court alongside the core group. Most notably, Saturday will present the first opportunity to see JaMychal Green and Facundo Campazzo take the court as Nuggets. Both players were considered Denver’s marquee free-agency signings and add different skill sets to the rotation.
Campazzo’s elite playmaking should help Denver’s offense, as the Argentinian guard can find any open teammates both in the halfcourt and in transition. His presence on the floor should open things up for Murray and Denver’s off-ball shooters.
Meanwhile, Green adds rebounding, defense, and a “grit-and-grind” presence to Denver’s frontcourt. The 30-year-old forward has also become a marksman, connecting on at least 38 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc over the past two seasons.
Beyond those two new faces, Saturday’s matchup should also provide some playing time for Denver’s other additions, including Isaiah Hartenstein, Zeke Nnaji and R.J. Hampton.
For Nnaji and Hampton, this season is a challenge unlike few others. Without the traditional Summer League and ample offseason time to adjust to the NBA, this year’s rookie class will be thrown right into the fire.
Denver’s core back together
The main storyline surrounding Denver’s offseason was the amount of roster turnover, with seven new players joining the squad. While that is the most turnover that the Nuggets’ roster has undergone in an offseason since head coach Michael Malone’s tenure began 2015, the team still returns the same core of players that will likely make or break it this season.
How will Jamal Murray’s dominant playoff run in the Orlando bubble translate to this season?
What has Michael Porter Jr. added to his game over the offseason?
Those are just a few of the questions surrounding the upcoming season for the Nuggets, and while they certainly won’t be answered over the course of the upcoming three preseason games, Saturday’s limited action will provide a glimpse into how these players are looking heading into the regular-season opener on Dec. 23.

I am going to be pretty damn sad or disappointed if Porter is not a starter for this game

I do not care if none of the regular rotation plays at all in this game, I want to see how the young guys look on the court and how they fit. With the bubble only being 8 weeks ago I hope our regular guys play only enough to get back in sync during the preseason.

I checked out the box scores from the games last night and found most teams rotations were filled, a lot of players got mins to see what they could do. Since we know what we're getting from Jokic and Murray, I wouldn't expect to see a lot of them. That said, I do expect to see a lot of the newer/younger players tonight.

I really hate the number of shots Millsap and Harris takes in our offense.

Yeah, Sap and Harris shouldn't be leading the team in shots for the half. That's not a good look.
The bench did not look good, maybe with the exception of Hartenstein. Hoping to see the rest of the bench this half. Starters can probably sit it out.

Its preseason, we need Millsap and Harris to get their shot back so them shooting more now vould be good for us later I guess.. Bench has only 2 players from last year with 2 of them playing out of position, so getting to learn new thing could take some time. I luke what I see from "Plumlee", thats what we wanted from old Plumlee, right?

WOW Campazzo!!!! Awesome. Loved Nnaji and Hampton looks like a gamer, too. Tale of two halves.
Porter though.... I think Grant was the superior player.

Is there a reason why Malone doesn't play Bol Bol much?

Campazzo is the backup guard we have needed, while his size may hurt us occasionally on defense, his hustle and BBIQ on that end is crazy for a guy who was in his 1st NBA game. I am not so worried about guys like Clarkson anymore.
I know it is the 1st game of the preseason, but Nnaji looked like our best PF out there by far. Millsap is still a good defender, but his offense has went away. Green may have been pushing it, but he looked lost a lot on both ends.
Hartenstein is not a great defender, but he is good enough and his offensive boards and overall fit on that end makes him a good backup.
You can see Hampton's talent, but it looked like he was a combination of being totally lost at times and having the game go to fast for him. I think he can be a long term player in this league though, as he was getting by guys and did well enough on defense.
The lineup with Morris, Campazzo, and Dozier was just weird offensively it seemed like they were all unsure of what role they were supposed to be playing so they all just stood around without the ball.
Dozier seemed to struggle guarding Bazemore, as did Green and MPJ, but overall he seemed okay defensively.
MPJ seems like he is overthinking things, and passing when he should be shooting. I know he is just trying to fit in, but someone should explain that we need him to be our scorer.
Bol was 2nd to last on the court, and then had a few plays were he just did not seem to give much effort, that is not a good sign to me.

Bol Bol looked like they picked up a random tall guy off the street and sent him on the court for no particular reason. Hopefully it's just this one game.
