Team is down 1-3 and your best player Jokic scores 7 points at the half time, he gets fouled out by Ayton , who have scored several points over him while Jokic made one jump shot over Ayton , that's it , he didn't try to post him up once in the game . He made bunch of bad plays against Sacramento in both games, he wasn't aggressive enough , to try to will his team to the victory like MVP's do in close games , against the Clippers he was average as well, I ll give him the pass against Houston who have missed bunch of players . The stats on the paper are nice but they are misleading .

Lebron James numbers from the past 4 seasons are very similar year by year in which he won two rings, lost one final, and once not even qualified for the playoff! There was nothing wrong nor unusual with the LeBron James game in the 2018-19 season, just Lakers talented kindergarten around him that season is simply not ready to fulfill the expectations of the team with the NBA still the best player (or TOP3 at least). The same about Jokic 23-11-13 TS%70% monster start of this season where he playing like a true MVP contender (TOP5 player at least) has zero responsibility for a disappointed 1-4 record. Compared to last season Denver lost three starters of this season NBA Grant, Beasley, and Plumlee, and also Craig and Juancho. Yes, we get several talented newcomers this season, but our coach doesn't use them anyway (in 5 games Hartenstein played so far only 46 minutes, Campazzo 33, Bol 14, Green 12, Hampton 6, Nnaji 4, Howard 1). Denver lost his previous depth, or if you more like it, not use on the right way potential of current backup youngsters, but thanks to Porter improvement, we can't say Nuggets are worse than last season, because our BIG3 can beat almost anyone with just decent support of the rest of the team. I don't like excuses, but the fact is that one win vs Kings was stolen from refs, in other game vs Kings we played without Murray, while yesterday against Suns we played without Porter, so this 1-4 record easily can be 3-2 or 4-1 today thanks to Jokic MVP start in just little bit less unlucky circumstances.

THE LAST THING WE NEED TO CHANGE NOW IS NIKOLA JOKIC 2020-21 GAME!

Kinda crazy but we have yet to have a full roster this regular season and with MPJ out in the protocols, won't thru at least 8 games or over 1/9th to start the season.

You are welcome to your opinion, but don't push it too hard. You won't find much support for your view around here and oh, by the way, you also won't find much support among the NBA players or coaches or front offices. You won't find much support among the national broadcasters nor the broadcasters that work for other teams.

I've listened to the other team's broadcast for each of our games this year and every single one had the announcers saying things like, "Wouldn't you like to play with Jokic? All you have to do is keep moving and he'll get you an easy basket."

If you are angry at Jokic because he doesn't score much, then you do not understand the man. There are many players that do not live for scoring. Probably the most famous was simply called "Magic". I do believe Jokic's favorite game would be one where he had 10 points, 20 rebounds, and 30 assists - but it would have to be a win because that is what he wants most of all.

Come on man, stop it with that thing, you don't understand Jokic game. He's the most talented offensive player on this team , and when the team is down the man who's a scorer , he has to step up , your star player can't just score seven points at the half time when the team is having trouble to score , the team was already in the deficit hole at the end of the second quarter and they were playing catch up rest of the game , he didn't try to post up, he didn't drive the basketball, he didn't take jump shots or three point shots and he can score in all those set up's , after the Houston game he said himself, he has to be more aggressive on the offensive end, yet he continued to be almost a non factor in the scoring department for the most of the next two games. Since people hold him up to MVP standards this season, he should be accountable for not delivering when needed.

He does play like one. He's not Harden to average 35 pts per night, not sure what have you been last 5 years. Jokic had 11 assists, he could have 11 in the first half alone if the rest weren't bricking open threes. Barton and Harris combine for 3-16, PJ was -18 most of the game, whatever problems this team has it's not Jokic, but for whatever reason you keep obsessing with him.

The team was down 10 points in the second quarter and his offensive production was necessary , then he made two quick fouls in the third quarter , one call was the bs call but regardless , he was out of the game , and the game was pretty much over at that point. If he was more aggressive offensively from the beginning of the game, maybe he would have gotten Ayton in the foul trouble and game might have had different outcome , that's why he should take a lot of blame for the loss. He wont get any ref calls to his advantage if he's passive most of the time, passes are nice but when the team needs the scoring he has to score the ball.

The team needs everybody, not one player doing everything by himself. Even if they won it's a meaningless win.

The teams need their stars primarily to step up, who are you expecting to score the points when Porter is out, beside Jokic and Murray??? There are no reliable scorers , all of them are streaky , even Murray is too , that's why your biggest star have to step up and carry the team when your help crew is struggling. Its frustrating to watch ,when he doesn't attempt shots and you know he can score 20 plus points in his sleep when he wants to and Nuggets need him to be the scoring threat all the time right now .

Your BBIQ isn't very high is it ? Between his scoring (19pts) and his assist (12 x 2) Jokic was directly responsible for 43 of the Nuggets points, what more would you like ??

To the modern fan, scoring is everything. They don't understand that an assist results in the same number of points. They don't understand that steals and blocks and rebounds typically result in an additional scoring chance - and that two scoring chances is typically going to result in a couple more points.

Of course that's why so many want the Nuggets to go sign some ball-hogging super star.
