Jokic will need help - so far, no one else has been consistent. So the question becomes; who is going to help tonight? (And before Skywalker says that's true for every game;

we all know that question is true for every game this year.)

The Lakers have the best defense, and of course, the best NBA duo.
Barton Will not play today, so Porter will play 30+ minutes. Is it time for the true BIG3 performance tonight?

The Nuggets are such a trash team, the worst defensive team in the league by far, I don't need statistics to prove me wrong, they only defense is , if the opponent miss an easy open opportunity, also the team full of low iq players on the both end of the floor.
Edit by mod: This type of post is unacceptable. It is "baiting". Repeated baiting will result in further action.
Responding to this type of post can lead to warnings. Thankfully our regular posters are pretty good at ignoring baiting. Thank you for that! -NuggetsWY

Good to see Malone can trust his bench

Great 2nd Q for us. 40 points scored. Zeke is such a good prospect, and I am impressed how RJ is determined for his D. Game after game he is doing his best on that end

Offensively perfect 1st half, but we lost last game vs Lakers after the same +12 lead on halftime. Maybe Lakers will gave up this time and rest AD in 2nd half after injury scare at the end of 2nd.
Everything is great in the 1st half, especially MVP Jokic.

Last time, Jokic had 4 points at half. This time he's figured out the Lakers.
This is a game that the Nuggets really shouldn't lose. They have completely outplayed the Lakers thus far.

Nuggets should be able to rest Jokic for the rest of the 4th.

40pts+ off the bench will help ensure a victory in 99% of all games. Zeke is showing he can be impactful.

I know Malone will give fair chance to Nnaji soon or later instead these ridiculous 4-guards rotations.
Ok, it is helpful that Barton, Harris, Dozier, and Millsap was injured, but at the end of the day it is Malone visionary who gives young Zeke already 2nd time this season opportunity to play over 6 minutes!

Looking at stats - and I'm not an expert at stats - both teams were pretty even except for one stat (without going into advanced stats): 3pt shooting. Denver took more 3pt shots and hit a higher percentage: 57-18 points.
We had a nice balanced game and Murray stepped up his game. We need him to be more consistent but his game this year is overall pretty close to last year - averaged over the year. If he were consistent, he'd be an All-Star.
Porter had a rough night shooting but I really liked his hustle on defense (as usual), but his hustle seemed more effective than it was early in the year. He shows the potential to be a fairly decent defender IMO.
Morris may not be the defensive stopper that Harris is, but his defense is a lot like his offense ::: not showy but effective and not a lot of mistakes.
Not sure why Green only took two shots but Nnaji sure had a nice game on the offensive end. Like most rookies, his defense needs work, but the best way to learn that is to listen to those whistles and figure out what he can/can't do. I believe he'll be pretty good on both ends of the court.
Hampton didn't do much on the offensive end but he hustled and worked hard - his defense seems a little better than most rookies, but it should be since he played overseas. Campazzo is another rookie that isn't a beginner and he had a nice game. He can be pesky on defense but I laughed when he stepped aside to let a full speed, wide open LeBron have a dunk. He was too late to get a charge and discretion is the better part of valor. (No way he should have done anything else on that play.)
