Fine shooting in 1/4. Jokic is not having a great game so far, but other than that we seem fine. First time seeing MPJ being aggressive which looks great

Jokic acting up again , second game in the row, not looking to be a scoring threat , your MVP candidate

Worst Jokic game of the season. Murray was good once again, but today was Young even better. Nuggets are always in big trouble when PG+C are outplayed by opponents PG+C, and Malone makes things only worse by limiting Porter under 20 minutes despite Millsap and Green are out. Nnaji defense was good, but he is a bad rebounder, so playing Nnaji with 3 guards most of the time was not good idea, so Hawks outrebounded Nuggets 44-33 (only 3 offensive rebounds for Denver), and that is key stats today together with Jokic bad shooting.

Hastings definetly saw the parallel between our struggles with the Harden + Capela pnr and Young + his squad.

Nanaji was caught in too many lobs and lost rebounding opportunities tonight, but I'm hoping he notices this and improves upon it going forward. All in all i'm glad he got those minutes in.

At least Bol looked like he wanted to play, although he did not accomplish much that is a step in the right direction.

Anybody else seeing Malone doing the same thing to MPJ that he did to Beasley? Ignores the good he brings on offense and yanks him anytime the defense is having trouble, even if Beasley/MPJ isn't the one responsible for teh defensive issues? (speaking of Beasley anybody else notice he is putting up better stats than Murray this year?)

With the way Hampton played defense in Cleveland why would you not play him until 20 seconds left in the 1st half and then stick him on a PF when he got in on the 2nd half? The only guard doing anything was Campazzo, it was not like the rest of our guards even slowed down the Hawks guards.

I like Nnaji, and his lack of rebounds do not bug me as much as it seems to others, if Malone would play our MPJ/Nnaji/ JOkic front court than we would have plenty of rebounding.

Murray and Morris need to figure out how to defend when they are on the court together, Murray especially seems to have regressed badly since last year.

The win against one of the worst teams in the league , what an achievement  Jokic is to blame for this loss , just because Denver have won against the crappy team like Cleveland , without him not doing much in the game, (I know he had triple double , but he was the far from the impact guy in that game, it was a more the stat padding when the game was over ), so he could do the same thing against the much better team like Atlanta , to let Murray and the low basketball IQ player Barton, win you an important road game . In the first 8 minutes of the game Jokic didn't attempt a single shot attempt , he took two free throws , thus got himself out of the shooting rhythm right away in the first quarter , and in the third quarter when the game was out of the hand he tried to be aggressive and he was missing bunch of shots , on the other side, Capela has outplayed him badly. If you want to be considered MVP candidate you have to play like one , there is no time for taking steps back when the team is struggling , he has to willing his team to a win like Lillard and other MVP candidates are doing. We seen so many games in the previous seasons when he didn't want to be aggressive and that didn't result in more wins either. Also Malone is to blame too, not talking to his player when he sees it , if I can notice when Jokic is pulling that kind of stuff, I am sure he can see it too, take the time out and talk to him, discipline him. The leading scorer on the team should never be in the situation, to not attempting scoring the points in the quarter or for the long period of the time, scorers put the pressure on the opponents , even if the teammates are hot , Jokic still have to look for his share , because soon or the later his teammates will cool off and then you are toasted, like the last night.

Surprised Bol got any PT, even with our F shortage. Nice to see Nnaji get a start but he needs time to learn from his mistakes, not time to dwell on them.

Malone is really keeping this team down with his power-control issues, he's gonna chase MPJ away as well.

I almost get the impression that Malone was forced into playing Bol. While I know Bol does not have the strength to really guard bigs in the post, he is not fast enough nor does he have the handles to be playing SF. I think that is a terrible place to put him and makes him look worse than he really is.

I do not get the 19 minutes for MPJ, he started out well got a couple of crappy calls to put him in foul trouble, and then Malone yanked him out of the lineup like he was the issue. He was not the one allowing the guards to blow by him.
